those are simply to remind you to only SELL when price is below 50 EMA and only BUY when price is above 50 EMA.

so maybe, the basic rules are...

BUY when 50 EMA is above GANN and price is above 50 EMA

SELL when 50 EMA is below GANN and price is below 50 EMA
Thanks bro, Lets wait for a answer from someone who is using this, I am also thinking in this way and it may be vice varsa as well that's my confusion

and more thing, GANN HiLo can also be used for exits..when the price goes the opposite side of it, time to exit.

it looks like a cool indicator but by itself it is useless as apply to it other currencies or other timeframes (eg eurusd daily) or apply it to usdcad for example and you will see that it has whipsawed for weeks. Who says the eur wont consolidate for the next 3 weeks between 1.33-1.35 and this indicator will just be shooting off signals long short every few days... noentheless if you can incorporate this into a strategy then looks pretty good.

EU currently retrace in wave 3, probably to 13290-13320 to form 4 waves, EU certainly will break the 13486 high to form wave 5 waves.... due to 3 waves extension less than 1.618 from waves 1...... In Elliot waves theory, if 3rd waves extension less than 1.618 of waves 1, than 5ft waves will easily break the 3rd waves,,, i expect 5ft waves will be in around 13650.............

Entries and exits are much better with Gann Hilo compared to MA's, but personally I use support and resistance.

A minus point for GannHilo: higher time frames are most reliable but only in a trending market. For a ranging market you should use smaller time frames.

I also think too much indicators are contraproductive. I use 3SMA (30,50,100), fibs and of course trendlines. Thats very reliable...cause most traders pay attention to these things and so are the price reactions.

Looks more like an ascending triangle to me. Flip open your H1 or M15.
