I thought the Pending Home Sales positive outcome would strenghten the US, how come it shows the opposite on EUR/USD?

Good $ news increases risk. therefore eur should rise.

because the pair is eur/usd kind of looking at a mirror, go look at usd/chf that went short as dollar pair first

all these while i thought that if its better than forecast and better than previous, it should be good for that currency.

can really elaborate more about why is it good $ news increases risk?

Good to read up on risk appetite, risk aversion, risk tolerance, risk limit. That should answer some part of your question
