DislikedInteresting chart.....USD/CHF at 50% retrace of the last surge up.....and the 0.91 to 0.90 levels seems to be supportive. Two hammers in a row - so this could be a decent sign. Although I am not a moving average trader, the 200 day EMA is one I will at least be aware of since so many professionals seem to like it. It is the magenta line just under price......Ignored
DislikedLooks like it tried to break down today but couldn't quite get thereIgnored
DislikedLooks like it's found .90. Let's see if it holds/bounces, or falls straight through.
Also, I've got another 30 minutes left on my chart broker's daily candle. USD/JPY is forming a nice 2 day pin. L
Looks to close under 80. by a hair, and is also being rejected by the 365 EMA.
I'll take a stab here and try to work her down to 78.5 or so.Ignored
DislikedI myself am looking for sub-79.50 to short the USD/JPY pair, and the USD/CHF pair is certainly at an area that we could see some kind of signal as well.......end of the day tomorrow we should know a bit more I would think.Ignored
DislikedDrew some short term trend lines.
But my guess is usd/yen might show where it wants to head at reaction spot?
having said that, absolute miserable movement from this pair though.
seems like a standoff from everyone until either party makes the first move and everyone followsIgnored
DislikedAnd this is a major point. The market should move first - then you follow. Anticipating the next move has cost me more money than I care to admit over the years.....Ignored
DislikedChris and all
Please forgive this general request.
Since finding this thread I have gone from maybe 8-9 trades a week to 2-3 and I am all the better for it. Thank you.
I am now trying to understand the thinking behind the trades you do. For example USDCHF closed below the support zone yesterday and today is up to now still continuing south.
Chris in your post above you stated that you will wait to maybe end of today to see what it does.
So is my thinking correct: It has closed below the zone therefore the bias must be a short trade. Now I wait...Ignored
