The Yen pairs are looking interesting now.

Yes they are.....they most certainly are. To be honest, I think a breakout is coming......these kind of impulsive moves don't happen everyday. A pullback could happen first, but I think in the end they blow up.

You think that bit of QE has made the Yen so much of a toilet currency it will continue going down even when they decide once again that things still aren't fixed in eurozone?

I did see someone on here say they thought over time it will collapse because of their 200% of GDP debt, ageing population and other things.

Yes, I think that a lot of the Yen rise is about to unwind. In the end - Japan is in a shitload of trouble for many different reasons. I don't know how far up we will go, but I think we are looking at a possible trend change in the works......could be wrong, but as long as we can stay firm and above 80 or so, there is a real chance.....

Just seen this as well, which is also Yen negative isn't it?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/c...eek-drama.html

Maybe they predicted this trend change in the near future and this is why they didn't bother with such a strong intervention as the Swiss?

Japan is in deep shit with oil spiking. They only have something like 2% of their nuclear reactors online at the moment because of the accident. This could send a couple of pairs up quicker than others, mainly CAD/JPY and NOK/JPY.

I once saw a triangle break out in the AUD/USD that screamed 1.12 as a target. Now I see this.....and it says 1.15

Hmm.......1.08 just became that much more important.

Watching the Daytona 500. Juan Pablo Montoya smashes into the jet dryer truck, igniting 200 gallons of jet fuel.......nice. Oh, and watching the USD/JPY 80 level again.

A well written extract of an article I read on another forum.......

"Trading is about being okay with ambiguity. It's about tolerating confusion. It's about sitting with discomfort and being at peace with it. It's about not having an exact script of when to trade or not to trade, or what's really a high odds trade, and being okay with that. It's about exceptions to the rules. It's about contradiction. It's about uncertainty"

I'm not sure what the rule is.
I'm not sure if this is an exception.
I only know that I miss my old friend the EUR/AUD.

She beckons me to enter prematurely, after a massive liquidity injection by Mario. I try to resist...but it may be futile. I am so weak.

I would wait until the daily close before making any decisions as the LTRO and Fed both are moving the news today.

Just closed out my position. It was a short based on a 4h entry from my previous post.

Not sure if I'll be around to babysit it today and don't want to leave it stalling or consolidating, going into the weekend.

Might as well just ring the register now, and begin March on a positive note.

Looking at the charts today.....this brings up a great point:

Sometimes, we are paid to wait. This is one of those times I think.

You are most likely taking the more intelligent course of action. I, on the other hand, can be fairly impatient.

Instead of waiting to see if this breaks 130.00, retraces, and turns that resistance into support, I'm going to get a head start and play the break of this daily pin that leads us into 130.00

I never went to Pathfinders school while in the Army, but I feel like one sometimes.

LOL....well, I guess the momentum was short lived on that idea.
The top of the pin never broke, so my order didn't get triggered. So no blood, no foul. But damn......that was ugly.

GBPJPY seems to be retracement mode. Maybe the 125 area would be nice to see some chart/ candle pattern for us to look long to test the 130 area again.
