stops are for unforeseen not to be taken out if ur stops are being taken out then there is grave problem with ur stops or u r not trading with the trend or u have a fail system or fail strategy or fail emotions

if you trade only price action then why not look at bonds yields, vix, bill yields and other prices to see the situation fully=)

The thing is, the market has been ranging for a couple of days with exception for today (i hope not). Unless we are able to pierce 1.334 and higher than, the ranging days may be over.

until now due to the market behaviour where it is ranging, in my humble opinion, RSI is valid in this situation. Maybe not a long term 100+ bearish market, but at least a good 20-30 pips off the bears.

There is a Trendline that has held for quite some time + It looks like it still will for now. Sorry I am not able to post chart. I dont know how.

All be careful with your short as in the low liquidity market stop at 3340 is easy target.

I will be stop out at that time anyway.

The technical reason I'm probing for short position here on the Dow is based on the Broadening Formation bottom established between 8/30/2007 and 11/15/2007 on the Daily.

Good "clear air" for weeks.

Good enough indicator for my trading style.

3481 is no doubt strong resistance but these are all resistances not a single bull candle from last facing leg is able to close swiftly above 34
