When billions of dollars need to be hedged, when options barriers need to be taken out, when billions need to be exchanged over night to cover international transactions, when Central Banks need to intervene, publicly or under the radar, not one of those transactions will be paused so that they can take a look at what systems retail traders are running.

Then take the Goldman Sach's of the world, the Citibank's, the Barclay's etc, etc, ... these people have algo's that we can only dream about.

So the trading systems here on FF may not have anything to worry about.

+113 pips today, I traded a bunch of different pairs for small gains, since I entered late. I still have 3 positions from today open, and one from yesterday.

Important point about TMA:

In an earlier post this morning I said:

GbpUsd just doesnīt want to come down. Itīs floating in thin air. It will though, it will...

1 hour after, it dropped to the lower band in three candles. It was floating up there for 18 candles and then it dropped like a rock in 3. That is typical of the way price works within the TMA bands. Remember this point. Many times it looks like itīs never going to happen, but sooner or later it will. It just wonīt do it when you want it to do it, but it will do it...

Just close EU short +36 pips
AU short +19 pips (jumped in a little late)
I traded in live account, 0.01 lot of course.
Al, Is it the same to use 5 SMMA in stead of EA's because I'm afraid that I'll
make mistake between buy and sell.

I think locking is probably only for more experience traders. We newbies or oldbies lack the ability to unlock at appropriate opportunity. Of course I probably only speak for myself, but I saw a few newbies got slaughtered by locking.

SL makes you a loser (no offense). Recovery - is usually a pure Martingale, and Martingale is pretty close to gambling (Al, no offense, I know that you use recovery, but I'm sure you use it much smarter that 99.9% of the traders. In other words: Recovery is NOT for everybody).

I don't have nundreds of hedgings because I choose my trades very carefully and because if the price goes against me I usually manage to get out very fast. But from the hedgings I did I know that it works perfectly if you know what you're doing. And I know what I'm doing.

In reality, unless there is a big news story you shouldnt have too much trouble with your system since prices range 70-80% of the time.

That is the reason why I decided to not include a trend condition in the rules initially, because intraday, it is not that critical. Important? Yes. As X-Man said, You will be more consistent with the trend than against, but intraday, trend is a lot less important than on a H4, D1 or W1 chart.

For now, I would say, letīs avoid very steep TMA counter trends but letīs not worry too much about the trend in the rest.

Please, reread what bob said above. This guy knows and understands trends better than anyone in this forum.

This is what I see ...

At the end you get a few pips GBPUSD after hitting STOP to another sell signal, but be very fair in the midline of TMA ..

May i ask why u introduced the moving avg(white line) and ma cross over line(red and blue). how do i make use of them? Srry if you alrdy said, but cant understand why, tkx.

Yes, you can use the MA and enter manually, itīs not as cool, but it works also. Make sure you have the settings right. Create an MA, paint it white and for settings, choose Smoothed, Period: 5, Shift: 5 Median Price (HL/2).

Iīm telling you though, itīs cooler with the EA...

Al, Thank you for your prompt reply. I'll try the EA's. If they work fine then
a full EA is quite possible. I know little bit programming but not enough to build
an EA, plus got mixed feeling about EA's.

The White line goes together with the EAs I included. When you are ready to short for example, you apply the Short EA that I sent on your chart. Then as price crosses the white line, the EA automatically will place the order with your broker and then suspend itself. It will say, EA is suspended on the upper left of the chart. Now you can remove the EA. At that point you are in the market with your short and you handle the rest of the trade manually. If you need to place a long, you do the same thing but with the EA Long.

The Red and Blue lines is the MA Crossover Indicator. It is another way of looking at the AM Crossover Histogram. The nice thing about it, is that you can see the lines approaching each other as they get ready to cross. When they do, the Histogram changes color on the current bar. I hope it is clear. If you donīt need it, simply remove it.

You're absolutely correct! It is a very good thing, but you have to demo it first, then you have to try it live with a small 0.01 lot size, and when you confident that you mastered it - then you can use it instead of the stop-losses. But you do all this stuff (demo - trading with 0.01 etc.) every time when you try new system or a new method, don't you?
