SwingMan's is outdated which doesn't mean that it is bad at all. I haven't taken a look at it but Udine isn't using it.

"Udine agree"? I'm not sure which indicator Udine is using right now, but the indicator I posted is just a combined indicator of the updated indicator he uses. It's just 2 indicators in 1 window which means that it gives the same signals. If you take the indicator I posted you will get the same arrows as Udine does.

Hi Kilian,

you can post it here if you want, no problem. Everybody needs to make it fit to their personality to make money for THEM, not for me.

I have given some tools I use to make money, now it is up to the people to make it work for them.

I have basically said all there has to be said. So now each and every one has to make it work for themselves.

Besides, soon here in the office the hard and software are updated and I will not be able to trade any longer from the office..... Can you imagine my anger and dissapointment ??

So just go ahead Kilian, although I might not be very active, I will always be here around.

I just take this one (vertical yellow line) on EU.

Just to compare i have all the indies in the bottom. And you can see it's not always the same signals, the same arrows.
So it's the same concept but not exactly the same strategy.

Udine write the rules in the stone. Good. But which is the good indy Udine ??? !!!

I would not take this trade because you have Lower High and Lower Low which means Sell. Even though price went above the last High you need a Higher Low first. Now you have Lower Low and Higher High so price is confused. Wait.

Learn to watch the price first, then see if the indicator agrees.

Well, I read approximately 150 pages of this thread which I try to summarize briefly here, for me, for my friend Laurent of Canada, and for all those whom that interests …

At first Udine said in the middle of its thread :
- “All is on the first page”
So that answers clearly the (my) question: what indicators MTF is it necessary to put ?
Other indicators developed during this thread are not originals nor updates (?) made by Udine.
What does not mean that they are bad.

The rules of Udine in the stone :

“LONG

1.- All MTF HA green.
2.- OHLC green.
3.- BO Signal Bar green: Break Out of Signal Bar (up for Long)
4.- min. 10 pips distance to the pivot in the direction of the trade: if not: no trade !!
5.- xADR green & RmUp/Dn green
6.- no trading when news comes out

SHORT

1.- All MTF HA red.
2.- OHLC red.
3.- BO Signal Bar red: Break Out of Signal Bar (down for Short)
4.- min. 10 pips distance to the pivot in the direction of the trade: if not: no trade !!
5.- xADR green & RmUp/Dn green

Ok and what about the arrow ? Not in the stone ? !!
- There it is the (my) first confusion. Sometimes are posted the graphs which take into account this (very rare) arrow; and more often nobody takes into account it since the other rules are respected. I speak with the indicator Invictus of the page 1, and not with the other MTF developed by traders ! Which show a multitude of arrows.

- It seems that the presence of this arrow can vary from a broker to the other one, on one or several candles of difference.

What about Pivot ?
- There it is (my) another confusion. The pivot calculations are different from a broker in the other one.
My conclusion:
If this system works with different pivot calculations - the pivot is unnecessary. C’est de la foutaise (en français dans le texte, lol) .
It is doubtless better to draw supports and major resistances. Still that a support or a resistance are made to be pushed. If we look for a good reason for not taking a trade we find there always one easily, is not it ? Less we trade less we lose money …
You have also the round number if you don't want to take a trade ...

So Udine wins some (a lot of) money live, and in spite of a very bad ratio TP10 / SL 20. And with a risk of 5 % by trade ! I do not want to be a sponge (to take back its Udine expression) but I shall indeed want to imitate him ! And imitate him as much as possible ! Not you ?

- Udine modified its SL from 20 to 15 and TP from 10 to 15 :

* So also make sure the pivot is 15 pips away

- Don't trade the europe lunch break, something like : 12h00 / 13h30 (GMT + 1)

- "I do not trade friday afternoon" Udine

- " August I feel are just for holidays ... December less volume so higher risk ... start the 2nd week of january" Udine

- Dont enter on the break out of a long candle : dangerous !

- It is the best to trade from Frankfurt open till London close

On GU = 4

GU N°1 = 9h (gmt + 1) ATR and RM green. Break out on candle + 1. But pivot (famous pivot ! ) at 10 pips. So …. What we do ?
It’s a winner if SL -20 and a loser at SL -15. But not a fast in / fast out (fifo). Long time before win ... a lucky one.


GU N° 2 = 10h. Just at major news. Break out on candle + 1 (10h15) but just at pivot. Do you take it if brake the pivot line ? Potentiel 9 pips – spread.

GU N° 3 = 11h 30. No break out

GU N° 4 = 12h 15. (not on the picture). Europe Lunch break : don’t take it.

That is because you are using the wrong indicator. And before you ask again. Yes Udine is using the indicator I posted

Your indy have many, many arrows (goods and bads). Different of original one. I do not know how to use it. As i say before : I read yor manual pdf and I wait for yours complete update. When do you post it ?
