a very good daily pb up shown and also a weekly pb up... i don't trade this pair... maybe too exotic... but now watching for the close of monthly candle

I shorted this pr last night @ 1.0622 and it stayed in negative pips for 12 hours. This morning when it briefly went positive I got out a +3. I don't think I will trade any more this week: 2 winners for +33pips, 3 losers for -62 pips for a net -29. The Greek solution isn't much of one according to the markets.

These things happen. Perhaps you are doing the best thing here - chilling out.
Hopefully next week you will rac in loads of pips

THANKS BK for this system ......i am retired and in my 70's. have been trading for 8 yrs.
trying now to supplement our savings but like to play golf and fish.
I am sick of 1hr charts so this will fit my trading style.
I too trade with IBFX. and have been with them for 8 yrs.I feel like my money is safe and i love their Debit card service.
i use their partal close EA to manage my trades. i have downloaded the alert and support.. works fine still working on email
I have read everyones posting and want to thank all for the help for this old man. thanks again BK>more later .........DON

Well yes it was really close. But I woke to my alarm in the morning to check the daily candle close I had two emails on my phone from the 10SMA email alert for both GU and AU.

I close out half my position at a certain level and leave the remainder to run with the stop now at breakeven. If it runs 'Woohoo' if it doesn't oh well. I think that's a major part of the way I picture trading this way, catching massive moves. Especially on Daily timeframes.

I'll always take something off the table, even though it's small it adds up and will compound your positive trades for when you hit the big runners.

With losing trades, I fully close them out once price has closed on the opposite side of the 10SMA. No reason to keep them open, open one the other way if you feel it may work for you. There is always an opportunity somewhere.

Well bkg you are absolutely right here Mike went into a buy trade this morning for the eur/nzd and got at least 50 pips.
I stayed out of it because of the slope down of the 200sma it has now gone 140 pips +
The question is when should I take the 200sma in to consideration.

Guys I finished my personal trade manager tonight. Working a day job made locking in profits with this system sometimes difficult.

Here it is to share, let me know what you think. It does not need to be run on every chart so save your ram and only attach it to one.

Updated Manual :
Most trade managers I found were super complex and confusing to use. This was created to make life and trading a lot easier. This EA does not need to be run on multiple charts, so long as your trade comment matches your input it will be under control. It supports both 4 and 5 digit brokers, and also the 2 and 3 digit JPY pairs.

don555 hindsight will kill your trading abilities, there is always something around the corner. Don't look back and dream of pips, look forward and concentrate on earning pips.

Hey folks, I'm not complaining about a not-so-hot week. I started the 1st of Feb. being down 10.3% in my live account but with this strategy and also Hugh Briss' I'm only down 4.2% so I am happy

And to "lotapips" - if I get to the Ides of March (3/15) I'll be 74 so here's to old but scrappy seniors!!

I still haven't quite figured out how to enter a D. trade when the new candle starts at 16:00 central timet, not much happening then. I'm thinking that I should look in around 10-10:30pm to see if there is a good setup. Any help with this is much appreciated. Good trading all, p.

For me its an easy pass. There is a lot of Support for the GBPUSD to chop thru in the consolidation area to the Left (Blue) . Im not saying that the GBP will not fall thru the floor tonight and make 500 pips, but for the "Risk management" part of my money management, I will pass trading into consolidation every time. Because there will always be another trade. Just my opinion Hope it helps.

Yes... I agree with that point. I dont like that consolidation area, but there is one thing that makes me doubt. If you look at the EURGBP and the GBPCHF, you can see that the prices have been in a consolidation area, but today they have broken this area and they seem that they have started a new swing.

I think if the setup was an A+ Setup, I would not doubt to trade it. That's why I better let it go... :nerd:

RKOZ ?? i loaded the trade mgr on 1 daily chart that has no other ea on it. and i want it to control all other chart as you stated but i dont know what to put in the trade comments. .please advise don

do you mean fx or stock trading (for 8 yr)?
and use bkg trading method on h1?
is ibfx daily candle closed at NY time closes?
