Maybe it is because of the repainting, but the way I see it: in your first long trade the price never went under the lower band (so you never got signal number one), so you shouldn't entered. And also the price was too close to the median band.

I have a question. I went long at the green line in the pic below. Right before I hit the center line I received a bear spike. Would you recommend selling half or getting out of the trade here or should I wait until price has hit at least the center line before exiting any of my position?

Now I finally understand a bit how to trade your system Al. Seems that yesterday when I said I have 3 losing trade on Eval thread, I do not follow your rules as it is. Now as it defined clearly on post 1, I'll test this starting today. I won't follow it signal to signal because I think switching from one pair to another and take the more likely setup would bring more pips. And yes, still trade this live with 0.01 pips.

First day test, 26.5 pips from AUDUSD and USDCAD with open trade currently +8.6 pips on NZDUSD.

thanks for sharing your time and experience. I appreciate your efforts.

I don't have any problems with the repainting behaviour.

But sliding/ scrolling back will show beautiful wave patterns, setups and spikes withour changing colors etc... Those setups are wrong and an illusion because TMA, MA-Crossover-Histogramm and Extreme_Spikes are repainting, by sliding/ scrolling they support the idea of getting many easy pips.

Again, great started thread and hope we all will make as much pips as possible in real or demo.

PA seems weak, closed it for 7.4 pips as it almost hit the middle TMA lines as per 1 exit strategy. The TMA slope is down, I think if this is the case it's better to close at the middle line. Btw 19 pages on first day, wow.

In AudUsd NzdUsd and UsdCad for 48 pips, will hit close to 100 if they all make it to the opposite line. Not bad.
Should be a prime opportunity to make an EA to get the trades when we are at work or asleep.

Maybe its Evals influence in attracting level headed people spawns others to be likewise. Anyway thank you Al. The system seems to have merit and I'm testing it.

i was following you on Eval's thread and appreciate that you opened a new one here. tks to your great contribution.

about candletigers problem: i also traded your old system in live and had differences to the trades you showed in the thread as candletigers has.

is it possible that you can make it very clear in your thread messages that either entries and exits you show are illustrating trades (after repaint) or real time trades you have done. i think it would take out a lot of misunderstandings.

i also think its important to show illustrated trades so that people understand the concept esp. newbies but its also important to know if it is a realtime trade for the live trading guys. Mark it with IT or RT or if somebody has a better idea pls your welcome.

2. Extreme Spike at close candle.

3. MA Cross to Close same direction as the spike.

Good morning everyone.

It looks like EURUSD hit the Target Price last night. I was sleeping and I missed the current long, but no problem, IŽll wait to get in short again.

EURGBP missed the TP by 4 pips. IŽll think about what to do here.
