Most of the time, when you get the three signals, price rebounds to the opposite band. Another point: If you set your profile to 9 or 18 charts, you will spot many more opportunities for trades. Once you feel comfortable with the system, you will probably move on to the 2 screen profile with 18 charts like I use. This is a 15M TF so there is plenty of time to check all 18 charts sporadically.

No. The spike can be there several bars before the color change, but it is important that both are there when the bar closes with a color change.

In other words:

First you look ONLY for the PA to go beyond the band.

Second you look Only for the spike.

Third you look ONLY for the color change. The moment the bar closes with the color change you double check to make sure that the spike is there and you place the trade.

I hope it is clear now. I´ll have to rewrite the conditions on page 1.

Not being familiar with TMA, I assume you are very familiar and have studied for long period of time? We do know some of the Indys being incorporated are brand new recently created by FF member comer.

Another point. Let´s say you see the PA beyond the band, and lets say by the time you get the other two conditions the PA sneaked under the band. You can still take the trade. Obviously, the farther away it is on the far side of the band, the more profitable the trade will be, but the trade can still be taken if you choose to do so once PA drops back below the bars. At that moment it becomes a matter of risk reward. That´s why I like to look at 18 charts, because you can choose the most obvious and better trades from all of them.

I think of the TMA repaints as the smoke trails from a jet airplane in the sky. The same way the wind will move the trails, so those future price action move the past parameters of the TMA. It will always center itself to the price action to form subtle cycles of movement over time.

Once you become proficient with it and get the feel of it. You will almost anticipate where it wants to go next.

Is time of day less important for this method than say M1/M5 day trading where your looking for high volatility?

Yes. You can trade this 24 hours and the TMA will still give you the same wave effect. It is a good 24 hour system.

To get a good "feel" for TMA, zoom out your chart totally and turn off Autoscroll. Now slide the chart months back and you´ll see the wave patterns repeat over and over. Those wave patterns are what produce the excesses in pricing beyond the bands.

Yes, it is the system I trade every day. Sometimes I enter a smaller trade with a Symphonie signal ot THV signal, but this is my bread and butter. The reason I don´t like other time frames with TMA is that price tends to overshoot the bands by much more on smaller time frames and sometimes it stops short on longer time frames. You can adjust that by changing the parameters on TMS, but I haven´t done it. 15M works fine for me.

You can change the ATR multiplier to 3 for wider distance between the bars or 1.5 for smaller.
