they display exactly the same way, it's just you feel more comfortable with the lines. Is it because you can see the trend change before when watching the lines ?

Yes, the lines suit me better because I'm used to watching my Yellow MA, so the crossover lines are easier for me work with

It gives pips like crazy. I'll stick to the main symphonie, until (if) the pips stop coming.
I agree with you. This scalping system is cool, but Symphonie is almost as profitable and more relaxing. Also, Symphonie is more likely to keep you in on the big runs. Iīll try this a bit longer, but I think Iīm reverting to Symphonie.I donīt know how many of you use Heiken Ashi candles. I feel they are clearly superior to regular candles. Iīm attaching the indi. to use it:

1- Change your chart to a line graph.
2- Change the color of the line graph to the same color of the background of your chart.
3- Load the HA indi.

The beauty of Heiken Ashi is especially for exiting trades. On strong moves in PA, the bars will not have a tail. When you start seeing tails, the move is exhausting itself. You can visually trail your stop to the bottom of the previous candle for longs or the top for shorts. It works like a charm. It is the most reliable exiting system I have ever seen. Together with S/R levels it works great.

As you become proficient using Heiken Ashi, your results will improve considerably.

The point that remains to check, are the scalp signals so reliable when market is shaking a bit
As far as I understand with Alorente's system we can get 30+ pips per trade and some trades can last more than 1 hour. I wouldn't call it scalping. Just my two cents...

- Exponential
- Period: 8...??
- Shift: 0...???
- Applied: Close/High/Median...????

I use HA candles more and more these days. They don't give out as much information as traditional Japanese candles, but they are so much easier on the eye to trade with, especially for identifying trends, no matter how small or large. Much less likely to get shaken out of a trade with HA candle....imo

You're partly right, some trades dont look like scalping as they can produce bunch of pips, but on weak market like this early morning only few pips

Here is something you may want to use.

I own a program that I bought for my company that reproduces written language into human quality voices. For example, you can substitute the ugly chime alarms in MT4 for voice alarms like "Symphonie Signal" or "MA Cross". I have many voice alarms on my system.

If you want other alarms, write them to me and I will post them. It only takes me seconds to make them. I can make them in Spanish too.

Iīm attaching 2 files for you to sample.

Itīs especially good when you step away from the computer for a while. If you hear the chime, it doesnīt mean much, but if you hear "Incoming News" or "Open Symphonie Long" or "Close Symphonie Trade", etc. you are in touch with what is happening. I also use them when Iīm asleep to warn me of an order I need to place or close. Once used to them you canīt be without them.

I donīt mind, but why would you want these? They are supposed to be alarms for events. I canīt see how you could use these.

Also, MT4 uses wav files. I donīt think the program accepts MP3 files. Correct me if Iīm wrong. Anyway, Forex Factory dos not allow upload of wav files, so if that is the case, you would have to PM me your email address for me to send you the wav files.

I respectfully disagree. I already made 30 pips in just one trade, but I exited prematurely (I set TP 30), could made 50+ pips (EURUSD).

Of course, today is a US Bank Holiday, so I won't trade NY, but today's London looks OK to me.

I cheated a bit. I exited at D1 R3, before the red bar closed on the MA cross. Itīs a habit for me to exit at S/R levels.
