It obviously broke out of the channel nowv you gamble that it might go back down.

I guess I just prefer trading the obvious. Easy trade = easy money

Anyone thinks that eu will reverse down from 1.3190 which is 1H % 61.8 fibo ?

Well remember you cannot always catch the tops and bottoms what i do to avoid early exits is i use moving averages . separate for all pairs . i will show u an example in my chart below . i will close my buy position only if it crosses below this purple line.

5960 was the strong resistence level and not any gambling

I closed my longs yesterday before this today move to 1.3170. But for me was 1.3115 also good. Now I wouldn´t open longs. This is my opinion.

i am also not long on eu.. this is GU chart

had tried one single sell on eu but closed than with -11.

my gu longs closed in good profit and then i shorted from 5960 an its still open with sl on BE.

Got hit by this bear trap as well Luckily I got some gain earlier this week to offset the loss
Would you mind telling @ where you decide its going straight up not minor up and straight down? There were few news that favour Euro in this whole up ..

just a suggestion the minute you start trying to out guess this market is the quickest way to failure


There is a good chance that it will run down to 3090 so if you have shorted with the same amount you should be at break even at 3100

you just have to hope ny pushes it down

No on this example it was 25 smoothed shift +5

Remember it was just an example it must suit your trading style and same values cant work for all pairs . Lastly moving averages are not at all use-full in a range bound market

possible but it has limited length. around 15 pips in my opinion

So you're going to wait all that time to short (which is a maybe). If you KNEW it was going to go there....... WHY NOT STAY LONG 'TIL THEN???
