GBP is starting to look like it wants to take atleast a dip. USD index could turn to the upside... Volumes are still growing - hard to say anything.

The bottom of the resistance area 1,3145-70 is blocking the way up.
Said so, we could see a dip towards 1,3090 before a move up

i've been reading up on fibonacci retracements for the first time...


from what I understood, by looking at the hourly chart, if eurusd goes over 1.3150 then it should go all the way up to around 1.3185 and it will become the new resistance...


the current support is the 38.2% ratio of 1.3112


can anyone confirm this so I know if I got it right?

still new at this fibonacci business

Just get the opposite direction of Frankfurt after London open. Leave 5-10 minutes to settle the London open. Get aud/used as the lead indicator for the direction to confirm. It is high probable trade (not 100% accurate). I have traded many times with success. There are exceptions, when it is seen very bullish the London might follow the of Frankfurt .

the ones below the market have been getting done this week, the once above have been successfully defended, but with the news out yesterday concerning ecb bond swaps we've already retraced half the down move, need to keep one eye on the wires today as the market is highly sensitive to anything greece related atm...

you are correct. but i would set buy stop at 1.3165 (instead of 1.3150), which is right above yesterday's high.

i think 1.3130 is 50% fibo (1.3280 1.2974)
am i wrong?

i've heard a whisper that there's supposed to be large offers stacked up to 3170, as to if they'll still be there if and when we get up there, that's another matter...
