ah come on guys... everyone deserve to speak their own analysis & we should respect their comment...
From my opinion what BOJ have been doing so far can't be called direct intervention because they have learned frm previous direct interventions that totally in failure...
In order to weaken the yen the only thing they can do by using QE (printing more money to buy long term goverment bonds & commit to even print more money to buy bonds abt 20-22 trillion yen until the end of 2012).
This action surprised many traders as they have been shorting this pair and eventually they hope it will change trader's mind set to change their position from short to long.. it it works so far, the pair has risen frm 77 area to almost 79.00. from my opinion the rise so far was made by carry trade because people can borrow money in Japan with 0-0.10 % interest & they will buy foreign asset with high yield.. What do you guys think? Pls correct me if I'm wrong..
If this pair can break its previous intervention @ 79.50 & weekly candle can close above 79.55 area & I will load more long position to hold this pair towards area above 80...

I think it won't break 79.50....then a slow move lower towards
new historical lows....below 75.50...

If 80.00 is being breached....the market will turn bullish and buying
will be better....

I agree 100% BW......Just waiting on the foothold and I will get back into this pair. 94-95 for the first target.....100+ could be on the table eventually. Thanks for your input BW

Very interesting analysis. It's all based on technical and you did not take into account fundamentals, is that correct? Please enlightment me, what has changed, fundamentally, to make the yen weaker than the USD in the coming months? Thanks.

Combined the 2 high intervention candles...the formation on Daily still valid and respected so far...huhuhu

I'm not quietly good on fundamental things.. but anyone could enlighten me about what happen in this pair for a couple days ago? when it looks sooo stable on the run.. with nearly no-retrace move..

200ema of 77.8 was crossed as if it is not a resistance...

yen will lose all strength if it defaults

it gives me another clearer reason about this movement on this weeks.. when i thought it still in a downtrend,

PS: i'm shorting this currencies nearly those upper trendline.. so maybe i'm lost in my un-objectivity..
