I used to remember Drucker's quote on Japanese companies, it goes sth like this, " American companies are different from Japanese companies, when Japanese are serious about buying your goods, they will send a rep, if the rep finds your stuff is good, they will a send a rep from another division, and this process goes on, what most people dont realize is that , when japanese companies do that , it means they are serious. Obviously, it also takes them a long time to arrive at a deal. "

Believe this, it took my dad 1 year to finally get a major japanese companies to buy my goods, it's the same EXACT PROCESS Drucker described.

Intervention is also the same, they like the whole team to actually somewhat AGREE.
Never Trust what others say always have your own plan of trading. As one person advise may differ from another. If unsure of any trade take profits or cut loss and move on. Just speaking from personal experience cheers.

I am currently Short on this pair. My basis is @78.38.

Not that it matters but this is the first time I have been Short the USD/JPY in well over a year. I am not in very heavy so I am not sweating in the least bit but that number keeps coming up in my thoughts, the very same number I have had in mind while I was Long for so long.....86...86...86.

I have no solid reasoning for that number so pay it no attention.

I have no SL in place but if it breaks 80 I'm out.

But the way this Pair has been behaving for such a long time now it might take 10 years to get there.

Bearish Probability;price has found resistence at 78.92(Daily r2 Pivot)close to 79.02(Monthly r2 Pivot).If this resistence area will hold price could turn downside to 78.64(Weekly s2 Pivot ad Daily s1)further to 78.44(Daily Pivot)and 78.19(confluence between Weekly r1 Pivot and daily s1 Pivot).


Bullish probability if 79.02(Monthly r2 Pivot)will be broken,price will rise to 79.2(Daily r3 Pivot)and 79.7(Weekly r3 Pivot)before a bearish retracement.
