Just look at AUS/USD chart. went down at the same time got 2 short in at 1.07493 closed them at 1.07303 and 1.07254

According to an unnamed central banker concensus is building to hold off further aid until Greece can make commitments that reforms will be adhered to. This can only happen AFTER ELECTIONS which are not until April...

With Bond coupons -- thats a big bill Greece can't pay for you Jersey shore people -- due in March BEFORE elections I don't see how Greece avoids default... real default... that triggers CDS payments that may threaten to bankrupt Euro area banks and cause a run on them.

Earlier today a strange rumor came through that didn't make much sense... to the effect that Eurobonds were to be prepared with the utmost speed.... maybe they need the bonds ready to calm the markets at the Greek default.... heretofor, Eurobonds were something far off in the future only after closer union.

Conclusion -- looks more and more like the officials are realizing the inevitable is just that--- inevitable and are preparing for a default... not more aid.

EDIT -- One option that would avoid outright default would be to only pay the coupon 14.5 Billion and leave any more aid till after the elections... this would influence the elections to have whatever result EU wants....

Do u think its a good confirmation of going short..

Criteria: Now that the price has retested today's R1 @7447 and closed below the R1(5 mins candle).. should it be a good place to scalp short for about 20 pips..?

i have been short for a long time ( couple weeks back at around 1.3-1.31, i added to the short as it climbed up to 1.33 and i tihnk we now have our reversal confirmed. If it retest the 1.3140 area i will add to the short ( heavy) and enjoy the ride down to 1.27, where i cam looking to make around 50% of my account.

Only problem? i didnt short it heavy enough at 1.33 or at the recent restest of 1.32.

Its all consolidation to me until we break the 2/6 low -- 1.3026ish
