Is anyone else having that chart loading issue again? I've been waiting 25 or so minutes.

Hi tempaul2004,

I checked with tech support and they haven't had reports of chart delays today. If this is still occurring with your chart, please contact live chat or [email protected] so we can help.

Hey Jason.

Do you know if there are any plans to bring Renko charts to Trading Station?
I have downloaded the indicator from FXcodebase but I'm having problems now with Trading Station as it just crashes.

Many thanks.

Hey fosking,

No plans that I know of, but I'll add it to the list of requests for the release.

I am very dissatisfied with the Trading Station and it's spreads.
It's just ridicoulos. I put an entry order on GBP/JPY, spread is 3-4 pips. When price aproaches my entry suddenly the spread is 11-12 pips. Entry is triggered and few minutes later the spread is 3-4 pips again. When my pip is woths 10 dollars it's 50-60 dollars just go away

GBP/JPY in not exotic pair or something, nor it is right away after the weekend

Hi VanillaStorm,

According to the price history found on the Marketscope chart, the most recent time the GBP/JPY spreads reached 11-12 pips during or prior to your post was during daily rollover around 5pm ET. The trading platform displays the best bid/ask price received from 10+ liquidity providers including a pip mark-up which is FXCM's compensation. As liquidity decreases during certain market conditions such as news events, weekly open/close of trading, and rollover, it is not uncommon to see liquidity providers charge a higher spread as a result of uncertain market conditions.

On the topic of rollover, please be aware that all currency pairs will experience 4X rollover today due to the upcoming bank holiday on Monday. The monthly rollover calendar with any daily changes can be found on DailyFX http://www.dailyfx.com/calendar/rollover_calendar/

That's great! FXCM'd better have Live Chat for Spanish people too!

Yup, I was fighting the MT4 all the day. First, it showed "Incorrect account", when I found that FXCM made some changes with servers (looks like) I finally logged in (after a new registration), but no data loaded. I gave it up. Weird...very.

EDIT: I had been using the FXCM MT4 for couple of months before it stopped working.

Hi Jason, how is FXCM markup calculated? If fixed, please give the markup rate

Fixed rate? For example:
Liquidity provider rate EUR/USD Sell;Buy 1.30000;1.30005 (Spread 0.5 pip)
FXCM marks up 1 pip on each side
, EUR/USD becomes Sell;Buy 1.29999;1.30015 (Spread 2.5 pips)

Percentage based? For example:
Liquidity provider rate EUR/USD Sell;Buy 1.30000;1.30005 (Spread 0.5 pip)
FXCM marks up 200% of Spread
, EUR/USD becomes Sell;Buy 1.30000;1.30015 (Spread 1.5 pip)

Uncertain, based on FXCM's 'sole discretion'?

Fwiw .... I've been with FXCM Micro for over 2 years & I've never had a problem with their service or the MarketScope trading platform. The spreads are clearly available so I know in advance which price levels will trigger my stops.
