you can go to post #36, ...download the MT4 script and use that to make screenshot capture of yourr charts and post them.

If you need help in using scripts, go to the top menu there is a UserGuide. Look under the Content > Auto Trading > Script

We are still trading the 1H TF and not the 15 and 30m Tfs.
Theres some traders thats trading those TFs.

LOL where did you pick that TDI from?
Well i am now using a TDI with real time which has been advised to me by a good friend of mine.
It was posted some time on this thread and i started using that TDI from yesterday. I included that TDI to post 1 and i will add it here

so, any position for this morning? i try a short, but it was a bad idea :/ even is the tred is very strong, and on the FT4 its seems to go down.

Im out for the week today im in no mood to look at charts. Im in weekend mode already.

I didnt get a good run from the E/U 1H method this week : pips won : 90 pips
pips lost : (20) pips
Total : 70 pips

Total trades : 5 trades
Won 3 trades lost 2 trades.

Pips from the 4H method :
Pips won : 160
Pips lost : 0
Total : 160

Total : 2 trades on E/A and A/U

and i made some pips by scalping the 5m charts Mon to Thurs.

I agree, it's quite hard.
But if I understood what has been said in this thread, a 1:2 R:R is more important with systems having a win/loss of about 50%. As win/loss with this system should be consistently higher, a 1:1,5 R:R should be appropriated.

Seems to me PA is trapped within the descending trendline from yesterday at 14:00GMT and the support at 1.3238.
Waiting for a tradeable break.
Reading "Trading in the Zone" in the meantime.

when i backtest this methode, theres some weeks good, and other is the complete disaster, so finally i'm looking why i can't reach a high ratio of win trade, it's perhaps simple but not easy.

We got the pennant break, the pullback candle and the TDI cross.
Waiting for an entry point round 1.3265 for a trade in the range.

Yes that is a really good book.
well D.d i would say that you entered a trade way before there was any such break of any kind. Your short trade from where i seen it was made on a guess. TDI showed nothing and PA is indecisive .

Never try to guess where price is going. Let the charts show you the way. We dont need all the pips from the start of the move , we just need some of it.
When we try to guess we will always lose. The market does not have mercy. It will slaughter you.
Ofcoz when we guess we have a 50% chance of been right but how long are we going to depend on luck if you want to be a long term trader you have to make logical decisions.

When you let the market show you the way then you will see how your win rate increases.

Why you think the market is open to individuals?
because on typical human behavior ( no discipline , no patience and greed ) These are qualities that every human possesses without a doubt.
Thats why 95% traders fail because its all based on human behavior.
The 5% learns to control their greed they train themselves to be discipline and patient.
Thats why the psychological aspect of trading is so important.

Do you think the market would be open to individuals if 95% of traders were successful? I really doubt it because the money would be filling the individuals pockets.

I met so many traders on this forum and slowly slowly they stop trading. Those are the traders that didnt put in much effort into trading (studying , back testing etc) , they gambled rather than trade.
I took this trading seriously i did not just blindly follow a thread. I did put in that effort of back testing and back testing , tweaking and tuning it to my style.
Once the effort is made then you will see how simple trading will become.
You will be able to fill your wheelbarrow with pips so easily

well as you can see i wrote down 2 trades for the 4H method.
80 pips each.
I can take way more than that by trading it the same way i trade the 1H method.

go to trading made simple and read all my posts there.
you will notice that i traded only the 4H charts ( which consisted of 8 pairs) and made a ton of pips with ease.

what point do you want us to see?

CMIIW, I think RR ratio is relevant only if you use a somewhat fixed stop loss (like Phx62). If your stop loss is for instance based on previous swing than RR is probably irrelevant.

For instance if using risk=1, reward=2, probability of winning 50%. You risk 25 pips in the first trade and win 50 pips. In the second trade you risk 50 piips and lost -50 pips. The net profit is zero.

Question regarding manual backtesting, I am finding it hard to record my results, often when i find a trade i state to myself the TP, SL and that i will move my StopLoss to BreakEven at + X amount of pips.
However as all the bars are complete, when the bar has moved in 2 directions it is impossible for me to say whether my TP was hit before my SL. Or if the amount of pips gain required to move my Stop to Breakeven was reached before the trade went and hit my SL.
I hope this makes sense, how anyone got around this would be much appreciated.
