DislikedHi Eval Im feeling your pain...
The best advice I could give to anyone new to this thread is forget the
1 Symphonie Trading signals for now..
2 Download the four main indicators with default settings
3 Read the Entry and Exit Rules
4 Read the Entry and Exit Rules again
5 Use Evals Money Management
4 Use only Demo for at least a month
5 Make a log of all your trades
6 Copy and print your trade charts and study them at the end of the day
Good trading..Ignored
DislikedI've also been working with 1 hour charts, one problem that I had to deal is with the news. how you handle this? do you stay in the trade because you trust (hope) your SL not to be hit or you exit of a trade before big news and miss of the ride?
Also one can not decide which session to enter, Eval (and every 1H traders) need to fit some of his entries outside FRA, LO & NY, one must simply take the signal in the time to come.Ignored
DislikedI didn't take any notice of any news except NFP last Friday, all other news was ignored last week, and I took every signal this week so far, one thing is, when the extreme signal happens you know you have about 5-7 hours before the trendline completes the signal (usually) so it can be planned roughly.Ignored
DislikedYou are right . . . I try to do the same, but FF "red" news affect my psychology during the trade, your words soothed me and give confidence.
May I ask you about your personal SL?Ignored
DislikedThink I may be about to take my first loss on the 1hr in 2 weeks not too bad, if it goes it will be -69 pips which will take the total this week to +148 pips. Stop loss is set at 1.33205 to take into account the spread and target is 1.31895.Ignored

Dislikedohammond,
I think you maybe suprised and find you have made a great entry. I think price action is about to reverse and head lower as the ECB conference ends and based on the dumb statements by Draghi and the dovish stance of the ECB will push the Euro lower.

DislikedI dont yet trade the 1 hour chart with this at the mo...im on the 5m charts and that can be a little more snsative tyo news..
I don take a trade 1 hour before important news and if the news has made the markets unstable I will give it an hour or so after the news before entering a trade.
I dont trade on NFP days and dont enter trades friday afternoons GMT
As for the sl if you set the default of 50 pips as Eval as suggested only to be used as a safety stop but use the Exit Strategy Two. with chart reading you won't go far wrong.

Dislikeddonīt you think, that it will be better original TL 45/15 (even 63/18) settings in order to avoid false signals? . . . or at least more solid signals?Ignored

As you know each country is run as a business and have budgets to work to just like mine.Ignored
DislikedI do hope you're right, even so, I can't complain so far. Last week I just took 50 pips on each trade and got 5 trades no losses so +250 and this week is also looking good. Must admit when I saw your post about the line in the sand I was pleased the stop loss was above itIgnored
DislikedI set your chart up after reading your posts just to monitor, seemed to give a long signal at 1600, I'm gmt +2. so 1400 gmt. Can't verify, 'cause it's gone with the repaint. i set it up with matrix 1.8 using your trend setting, but the indy allows you to tweak the trend setting which may give a different signal...
cheersIgnored
