My way of thinking exactly. And I've tried all sorts of different breakouts, and they will work right up till the time I actually put a trade in.....started to take it quite personally so stopped doing it

Hello, I am new in this thread and have just installed the system. I hope I have installed all the up to date indicators which are quite frankly a bit hard to find. I have attached a screenshot of the current indicators used.

I will try the system and will post the results here. I intend to use h4 chart trading Spot Gold only.

Hello Eval,
Thanks for your dedicated time to this thread and for sharing with us. I have a major concern though especially because as time has gone by, there are many indicators that have come up into the system to try and make it more profitable but these are not on the very 1st post. It is hard to know which indicators people r using and why they are using them and if are using them. If possible update 1st post to include all the other indicators that where not part of the original symphony indicators, a template with these settings and also how to use these indicator.
May be u can categorize then by month and year so that one know which is the very latest with the better settings.
I hope this post helps those that have all these questions on their mind.

For goodness sake.....do you not think that Eval has done much more than most already? EVERYTHING you need and ask for is contained with the pages of this thread. Instead of asking Eval to search through the thread for you, why don't you read the thread for yourself????

Why are there so many who want to be spoon fed on this forum all of a sudden. Come on.....get off your ass and do some work for yourselves.

So far this year its only very little profits.
I am using SEFC 15m and another system in FF.
SEFC is still my core system.

Yes I noticed you on that other system you speak of....I can't follow that one too well, but it's great if it makes money for you. I think the current range we are stuck in is not really conducive to M15 trading...I could be wrong but I find that this range is best traded on the M5 or even the M1. Having said that, I know that ohammond is trading the H1 successfully!!

But no matter what, as long as you aren't giving money to the brokers, then it's not all bad!!!!

Well that is the challenge with crowd sourcing to use the new fad word.
A bunch of talented people building a system is great but you gotta
piece it together yourself.

Suggest you open the attachment paperclip and click hide images.
Working through the attachments/post is a short cut instead of
chewing thru the entire thread.

Personally I find IhDT's Symphonie Signal V1.8 template / indies the
best => see post #4476 Some say there is a bug. Maybe, but it works

Give Eval a break and please read slowly through the thread and dont be too quick to get started...Take your time and in the longterm term you will be thankfull you did..

I agree ive been watching all time frames and at the moment the 5m is most productive...When greece and the euro Zone finaly sort things out I think we will see better price movement and will be looking to move to a higer time frames..

I don't know when they will reach a decision on Greece, but until they do, we are stuck in this uncertain range. I imagine that Greece will get the funds to avoid the March default deadline, and if and when that is announced it should boost the Euro a bit......but for how long? Does anyone really think that Greece won't default sooner or later?

IMO, they should bite the bullet and do it now, get it over with.....this has been dragging on for 2 years now and is causing immense harm for many.

Here's a link to a very good read that was written 2 years ago......how true it is tuning out to be.

I agree If greece have held their hands two years ago they could have been well into a new way of running the countrys finance by now and the rest of Euro could be recovery too..

I think we all know greece will default at some point so why not now..

The link was a great read and so true...Im in business myself and have loaned money to people as a temporary relief in bad times and the very same pattern described in the link occured..

I'm no economist, but I don't think that Greece can 'austerity' their way back to prosperity, no matter what the IMF and ECB say. Greece now has 20% unemployment and those that do still have jobs are taking heavy pay cuts. So retail spending reduces, so demand reduces, so staff lose their jobs etc etc. I realise that is way over simplified, but the theory is (I think) sound.

Austerity has it's place, and goodness knows Greece needed it, but now it s becoming a poison chalice. Greece is on the brink of collapse and I don't see a way out for them as long as they stay in the EZ.
