Here is the Sonic R System Summary:
The Sonic R. System is a method of trading price movements between areas of support and resistance. It trades on the M15 chart. It uses a price activity WAVE at an S&R area to validate a trade setup, and technical indicators called the DRAGON and the TREND. The DRAGON is used for picking the trade entry. The TREND is used to confirm the correct trade direction. Historic S&R is used for picking the trade exit.

WAVE
L-H-HL starting below Dragon for longs, H-L-LH starting above Dragon for shorts, showing "bounce" or “breakthrough” at S&R. Best if WAVE leg #1 crosses thru the Dragon.

DRAGON
Must be angled up with PA above it for longs, and angled down with PA below it for shorts.

TREND
This is a market bias indicator and it is best if PA is above it for longs and below it for shorts.

TIMING
Prefer not to open trade during asian session. Recommend London session for best momentum. Trade can be closed anytime.

PAIRS
Prefer to trade the pair EUR/USD. Lowest spread. Usually a wide range. Most important is it is most traded pair, which means better volume and better momentum for the trade.


Placement of EP
Wait for a WAVE leg #3 candle to break out of the DRAGON, and place your entry order at least several pips beyond it. It is better if there is no strong S&R area just beyond the entry. Remember also, it is best if PA is above TREND for longs, below TREND for shorts.

Placement of Re-entry
It is best to let PA clear the most recent high, or low, and if there is no strong S&R area just beyond this re-entry.

Placement Of TP
Select a historic S&R level. Such levels can include whole/half/quarter numbers and the middle of consolidation areas.

Placement of SL
Normally, select a level in the area from the start of Wave Leg #1 to the start of Wave Leg #3, depending on your risk tolerance and judgment of PA volatility. Move it to BE+ ("break even" + a few pips profit) as soon as you consider it prudent to do so. Extreme high volatility might warrant a wider SL, outside this range. Very low volatility might permit a narrower SL, outside this range.

Example
Below is an example of a Sonic R. System long setup and trade. The key elements of the Sonic R. System are clearly labeled and illustrated. A short setup/trade would be the inverse.

Conclusion
To start with the Sonic R. System, read all of Post #1 and the linked material. Read the first 25-50 of Sonicdeejay's posts. Read at least the last month of all posts. Please do not ask any questions for the first month of studying this system, because as you read, reflect, and read more, all of your questions will become answered thru your own efforts.

The purpose of this thread is to be a "text book" on the Sonic R. System, which learners can read thru and grow. So, the fewer posts that ask/answer the same elementary questions from newcomers, the better for all to have fewer posts to read to progress! The Sonic R. System is elegantly simple. Believe me, any lingering questions you have will be answered as you read the thread and diligently study the trades and other information already posted here.

I think that is better to post also the screenshot with technical analyse on the superior timeframe. In this case H4, I think. To observe better the support / resistance.
I think that every screenshot should be followed by a screenshot with a zoom out on superior timeframe.

but one more question please! i have all manuals for SonicR in my Phone, i've read them all. but cant conclude where did i do mistake

as i NOW understand, i shouldn't go short in second case.
and there is the thing i can't clarify, can i enter in short positions in cases like i showed below. when figure L-H-HL is not completely formed yet. or it's rather wait of figure complete formation and just after that find opportunity to go long?
this is really important to me cause i couldn't read PA with confidence yet.

at attached pic, the end of words "..short again! and you.." should continued with words "and you might see that i catch my SL"
obviously they don't fit in.

I think that every screenshot should be followed by a screenshot with a zoom out on superior timeframe.
It is always good to review D/H4 charts to see if there is candle/candle grouping that supports a current or coming Sonic R. setup on M15. Many times there is not, yet a good Sonic R. setup/trade takes place anyway.

Therefore, mandating an analysis on the "superior" timeframe will most often be a waste of time providing for no content other than weakly supported conjectures.

However, if you see a valid opportunity to do as you have suggested, please post accordingly. Perhaps others will follow.

I believe I understand your question. You saw the second WAVE marked in blue, and decided it to be a valid short setup. You took the short trade which was stopped out for a loss because PA reversed into a long setup. And your question is what did you do wrong, what did you fail to see that could have helped you avoid entering short, seeing as how PA later went long.

As you can see, the WAVE did not begin above the Dragon and cross thru it. This is a re-entry, not an initial short setup. The initial setup occurred earlier as shown. The rules for re-entry state it is best to wait for PA to pass previous H/Ls before entering.

Understand, there are times you will do everything correctly, and the trade will still sour on you. It happens. It is part of the business. You had a sensibly placed SL and it did what it was supposed to do; protect you from losing more.

Entered short (EP= 1.0713). An "asian session" pair. Might do something with this setuup. Might not. It is a question of momentum; will some come in, or not?

Actually I have been fidlling SCP value for days. I used 3 for setting. but it doesn't make any change. I must be missing something important.
my timezone is GMT+9 and using MetaTrader 4.

If you increase the input "DST_Server_GMT_Offset", the vLines will shift right on the chart. If you decrease the input, the vLines will shift left on the chart. The instructions clearly tell you that your time zone matters not. What matters is the time zone the server is running on! If all else fails then wait until the SonicR Clock Panel says it is 8am in London. That is when PA should be on the London Open vLine. If your Lo vLine is already to the left of current candle, increase the input until the Lo vLine aligns with current candle. If your Lo vLine is still to the right of the current candle, decrease the input (use negative numbers if necessary) until the Lo vLine aligns with current candle. You can also do this when the SonicR Clock panel says it is 8am in NYC, and align the NY open vLine with the current candle.

Please let us know how this works out for you, and what you were doing wrong.

unhappy trade!

I did make same trade short before your trade was posted, my stoploss is 1.31415 and I'm happy not beeing piked out! Didn't post this trade before because rr rratio (<1) isn't really good.
