Udine (and everyone else) how do you deal with really huge signal candles? >15 pips. For me it seems like those trades are less likely to run into profit, that is just a feeling though I will have to backtest it.

I rarely join trades after unusually big candles.

Killian, the version I took the indicator in this thread already had mail alert functionality and sound when an arrow appears. The only change I made is to include the arrows 60 and 240 minutes in the same chart and to differentiate the alert for possible BUY or SELL of sound when an arrow appears, this due to my particular, I don't want to receive an audible alert whenever there is a possible BUY or SELL, but if I want to receive an email in these cases, to run to my laptop and be outstanding at the close of the candle to see if there is an arrow or not.

Sending a mail when an arrow does not seem useful, since in this case should act quickly to send an order to BUY or SELL, not to read mail.

In any case, if you will, please make the changes that you consider and we will review. All for the good of each one of us who use this wonderful Udine strategy.

Yesterday I decided that I want to understand how the fifo indicator works. I took a look at the code and noticed that 75 % of the code is just leftover from the previous version. I'll upload the light version today - tomorrow (early).
I also made some small adjustments to make it easier to call the indicator values from other indicators/EAs.
+ a few little stylistic tweak to the indicator height.
I also will fix the alert.
I'm 95% sure that the new version of the indicator works exactly the same as the old one (it just will take 75% less resources). I made a visual backtest and everything seems fine, but since I deleted so much code there is always the small possibility that I missed something. Please everyone let the 2 indicator versions run side by side for at least a day and tell me if there are any differences.

Excellent Killian. The truth is that the current indicator spends many resources and would be very useful for everyone to have a more efficient version.

Please soon attach the new indicator and we will tests to check that works.

I recommend please separate arrows and possible BUY or SELL alerts.

Hi, guys, I'm back. I hope you don't mind I decided to work with that indicator a bit. I combined the 60 and 240 into one which should help with resources too. I also fixed the code so it won't do the MACD for alerts unless Alert is On and it's a new bar. And only 1 alert per bar. That should help too. Yes there's alot of crap in that code that could be cleaned up and I'll look at it later too, but now I'm bug-eyed from staring at code. Right now it uses the same alert sound for either arrow but that could be different if you want. I'm curious to see your cleanup too, Kilian, because I didn't write the original code and some things like the Start variable confuse me so I want to understand it before I mess with that.

There's not much market activity right now but so far this doesn't seem to be straining my CPU at all on just EU and GU.

Well, I'm sure I didn't change the code much but now I'm getting way too many arrows alternating up and down and sometimes double arrows on the same bar! I'm sure I can fix it, but not tonight after plenty of drinking during the Superbowl. Tomorrow, when I'm sober, or maybe Kilian or Maudur can see what's wrong.

Ah, well, missed a beautiful +10 pip winner on the AU while I was trying to figure this indicator out. Maybe I should just delete it and trade straight price action. A pullback to the 1.07210 area would be nice.

(too many arrows!)

Don't think the high is broken as of yet, but I don't have a pending on the first bar of Frankfurt's session ever. Been faked out too often so I wait for a new signal

That was the frankfurt open ....i dont trade the open frankfurt london or newyork

If your pending buy was 09 you would have had it...

Unless you wait till you see the sell at 09 then buy, which case youd be accounting for the spread id think

It was a Frankfurt open bar and the 240 was still red...

Same goes for the EU signal on the 60 on London open bar, but 240 still red.

I only took the GU trade as EU was approaching some key support. Waiting on this GU (got in two pips late though )
