You could also apply Darvas boxes as well....

The Livermore system is very similar to Darvas.

BTW his book was a really good read. Ive been through at least 5 times.

I'm a fan of both, but didn't know Livermore had an actual system....I know he was the reason for a lot of today's trading rules, breakouts, progressive scale in's etc...can you refer me the book? I have the Edward Leferve book already..Reminiscence of a Stock Operator....thanks.

This one was compiled by Richard Smitten. First part is Livermores original book, second part is Smittens interpretation which is so so material.

Last part contains what Livermore called the Market key system which I use in addition to classic chart analysis as a confirmation method.

Sort of back to the future, but a good tool for alternative visualization of your trade.
