It appears that it will be hard to break these two levels (blue), unless NFP will turn out to be some freaky number. I plan to stay out and wait until it reaches those levels

I agree. Pick your battles. Good call.

EDIT: Every chart should be marked up like this. Gives you quick overview as you peruse, and stops one from doing anything too hasty.

i'm expecting prices would still go down to the 1.276x to make the monthly low (not making a new lower low compare to January's low), before it would move up to the 1.32xx (monthly trend is still Bearish)

today's high might be in the 1.3160-70's.

Careful of u guys that are going long, unless u have already placed trades way back @ 1.26xx's or short stops..

my current trades :

sell @ 1.3198 (since 02/02) currently up + 57 pips (570pips for 5 digits)
sell limit @ 1.3165

Second and final target set for 1.3190 Not sure there will be enough steam to hit 1.3235 and I want to be flat in the morning.

Caution! the 240 trend is still UP! Be a cautious seller.

Kengo Suzuki, forex strategist at Mizuho Securities in Tokyo, said the greenback could be sold regardless of whether the January data comes in above or below expectations, saying weaker figures could justify the extension of the FOMC's easy monetary policy and support the case for QE3, while stronger figures could improve risk appetite, both of which were likely to result in dollar-selling.
"In either case it will lead to a weaker dollar," he said.

in my experience when NFP release is negative you should sell eur/usd.
However last month the case was opposite.
The NFP release was positive but eur/usd was sold and also dow stocks were sold.
I do not know why.
Do you have any idea?

Nice info..But market always unpredictable (that's what make so many guys lose their account)...Mr.Kengo might just use all his saving to short U$D with 1:500 leverage and become richer today,if he really believe in what he said..

Pending BUY order set at 3170, looking to target 3215 before 3125. We have a couple trendline supports between order and stop loss on the hourly. Speculating that a break of the upper flag/wedge forming trendline coincides with London session volume for momentum to target. Anyway, that's the plan for today. Good luck to all!

Im pretty sure that is highly illegal and one would never be able to trade securities again if they were caught doing that. But I posted that news blip as fun and insightful, nothing more. I personally don't trade anything I hear. Fundies are not for me.

About 4-5 years ago I took a few trade calls from Jamie Seattle from FXCM, every trade was a huge loss of 100's of pips which drained my account to almost nothing. Figured out listening to analysts is a bogus way to trade.

Amen to that. Those analists are only trying to get you to lose your money to the broker.
