almost other pairs of against the dollar is rising, but not for usd/jpy..

nontheless, nice price for a low risk long here

Still not a comfortable level for taking long position. Possibly by the end of this week the pair may fall below 76.00.....

BOJ for sure, EURCHF is not that urgent, even it's approaching 1.20

I did, once with USDCHF, once with USD/JPY, not recommendable,

but my most profitable trades in pips. it felt so good. kinda lucky.

Im not schooled on this at all,
But fundamentally isnt it an absolute must that something is done by the powers to be, to weaken the Yen?
Japan has just had their worst trade deficit for decades and if the Yen appreciates further, wont this just perpetuate all the issues theyre having?
Having said that, who knows where the floor is and it may just keep lowering.

it won't be like SNB to set a physical floor for USD/JPY, too costy.
besides, Japanese Eco is like export 1.5B import 1.2B.
if it's 0.5B vs 0.2B, they won't hesitate to intervene for a minute. A floor also hurts import and Japan has to import a lot without many resources.

Put it like this: Japanīs loss is the USAīs gain... jobs wise. So I donīt know if it is that safe to play this pair on the long side, it is a falling knife. The US big players are delighted with this trend going against retailers, a confirmation of this trade will be the NFP by the end of the week, if it is a good print I will expect this pair to keep falling past the BOJ, Azzumi etc etc.
