Hmmmm You have to work on your math here PT.
I guess it does depend on how much down down is and how much up up is.

I guess E/U tried fooling Chart Study ... Buy order executed though +100 pips running..

thats why i said...fundamental should happen firdst then technical....
we know previously euro have a chance to move downward....but this fed just take an hour to spoil all of that..hehehe

this is the power of the fundamental!!!

it can spoil the trend!!!

Closed Buy 1.2982 - 1.3093 .. executed in piptrapper_cci chart (fund goes to PT)

price may get some support @ 1.3080 level and continue up ..

see my charts posted today ..do you think anything happened which my chart was not telling me ...

.... yes it has no clue about this massive volume ... but 200 raff channel upperband indicating 1.31 ...that just happened ... no body is fooled.

Here's something interesting I've noticed in the last few days...

As Kno indicated, when the A/J moves up, it's considered a Risk ON period, when it moves down, it's a Risk OFF period. I posted some other observations a few days ago ( http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...22#post5314922 ) but I guess I wasn't worthy of his comments

So as I'm still trying to learn and took the A/J indication as gossip, I started to play around. Today is a good example of that observation (although some will argue that it was the news at 11:30 EST).

Look at the chart below that has both the A/J and the E/U on it. Red/Green candles is E/U. Notice that A/J started to move down before the news came out, about 20 minutes before it. Risk was coming off. The two pairs joined then WHAM. E/U shot up, USDX shot down, risk came back on (by the A/J pair moving up) with E/U leading the A/J move.

Now looking at other time periods, I find a similar pattern and that is, as the E/U crosses to the up side of the A/J pair, it seems to be a good time to go long. When the E/U pair crosses on the down side, go short.

If you use the same logic on a daily chart, you would have gone short on October 30th at around 1.4100 on the E/U pair. Seems like this is where many here have gone short.

I think it's worth a second more detailed look and I invite your comments.

Well IMO is a bit premature to evaluate such a Fundamental. So far is a mix mild statement with only one thing for sure: soft dollar till 2014. However, stocks are marking the pace on this and they are yet to enter in full bull territory TA-wise. Some initial reactions range from QE2.5 to not enough. However, BB has the ultimate word in a few minutes and TA-wise there is still the monthly roll for the proper positioning....we'll see

Looks like we may just see RTL-1 before RTL-0 after all Buma. If so, I will be in a position to short with more confidence as that will relieve the overly stretched weekly outlook.

1.3200/1.3250 is my area of probable reversal. Up to the 1.3400 area is also a possibility.
