I'm pretty sure EU has been held in a range due to the money in equities atm. Watching SP500 1300.

$EURUSD: IMF said to propose boosting its lending resources by $1 trillion.

That is what happened. I found out and I have done 2 quick trades.

One was done at 5:13 AM at 1.2859 and closed at 1.28169 at 5:24 AM for $90.00 and my second position was opened at 5:15 AM at 1.28353 and closed at 5:24 AM at 1.28225 for $128.00 and now for the point that I want to make about trading strategy.

No chart in the universe could have known that news was coming. We surely had stops being hit and when I knew what caused the spike I was able to take advantage for a quick in and out. Now the time is here to watch how EUR/USD behaves at this level. Find the next resistance level and decide where to short. The KEY WAS to take profits quickly. Have a good morning.

Taking such a high risk trade just to get some paltry 30 pip, not good.

I'm in now. maybe get out earlier.
THere was excellent news out just now about German Bond Auction. The Dow is up and NOTHING has changed. Understanding the game can keep you clear headed. Today is Greek day and the point is that DO NOT CHANGE your mindset because of NOISE.

Surely watch the charts now for support and resistance. To make a further point EUR/USD Trader was STOPPED OUT at 1.2815 as EVERYONE had Stops there and that was easy to see. News comes out which is BS since it solves no problems if true and so people's MINDSET is changed just looking at the charts NOT KNOWING what happened.

I would not be surprised to see EUR/USD down 100 PIPS. However now is time to watch Money Flow and the normal KEY Trading times such as 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM and NOON.

By NOT Changing your MINDSET as those LINES go up you can have a clearer understanding and not create BAD Trade Plans. Understanding yourself and the markets and the game will give you your EDGE. I am off for a good part of the day to do work on other matters.

I hope this post gives some insight into better MINDSET'S.
