sorry to hear that, you should try waiting for the PA to roll over if you are going to fade the trade. You won't get the tops or bottoms but you will get stopped out tens times less.

Absolutely true, had a great week last week and now Im looking like Im about to give it all back. and yes impatience has taken its toll. Well back to the driving range (demo) for me for now until I can clear these cobwebs. Growth as a trader I guess.

for a change i took a short , it's stop out for +2 pip

usually market take my stop before move in my favor

edit : that was shorted @ 05 ,

Looks like we might make a run to 2824 and then I think down. Bulls may run out of steam.....

PA = price action

so for a roll over people will have different ideas some more aggressive than others.

For a longer trade (bigger target) I would wait for M15 to form a new high confirmed with two lower bars, or on M5.

In this case I waited for one confirmation bar

well chap 10 out of 10 for bravery your opened you short into the headwind, but you took quite a risk for such a small profit take no?

because at that point the price could of just steamed on..

next price to watch is 1.275x and a break below 50 to deeper move and maybe some tasty stops

some consolidation possible moved my stop to 1.2780 above the action hopefully.

Was looking for a quick scalp...2801 was weekly high, ATR projection was hit at 2806....thought I could take that and then long..not sure it was brave....lol...but that's trading...just managing the risk...
