To be honest if I'd see the price go up to break 2800, last thing on my mind would be to go short, but that might just be me, I don't understand the logic in your intentions at all.
It does seem a little cookoo but I'm actually cost averaging my way with, in this case, by a multiple of two. So my first position is 2 pips, then 4 pips, 8 pips and so on. As it retraces it goes green by a multiple of two. It's a little daffy but it works well for me. I usually get a daily 2% that way. This month has been were slow going so I'm only 1+% for the month. My problem is that I get out of my positions too soon like the last time I got out at 2720 and it went all the way down to the low 26's. If I had stayed I would have made up my daily 2% for the month. Oh well.

I actually do have a hedge account and as I'm positioning my shorts I have a buy in. Forgot to do it today though.

i looks to buy in the 2720-2700 area, and put stops on b/e when price will break again the highs of today. Then we'll see, if downtrend resume it will be ok, if 2870 resume it will be even better.

May I ask....

In say ten trades you make, how many of these trades stop out?

Who knows where E/U will go. Today I was long and made 2.5%. Now I'm looking to short her from 1.2750/1.2870.

it has at last reached first target for a correction, but could easily move up to .1278x.

Will short it below current consolidation or at the next level if reached.

No. Just curious. One day I discovered that most of my losses, say 3 out of 10 were due to stop losses. So I quit using them and now I never lose due to being stopped out.
