Have closed it moments ago to cover my losses I had this week. Not my week: had 2 losses and decided to take E/U but not GBP/USD yesterday. Nothing more to say: charts do the speech.

Interesting week that was in terms of my choices of what pairs to trade. Two losses (GBP/USD and USD/CHF - the battle is still on with swissey, LOL) at the beginning of the trading week accumulated some frustration and also my self confidence and my other trader properties check. EUR/USD brought my weeks balance to b/e. It was a nice trade but didn't fill my expectations. And there it is: the power of a choice. Two days in a row had same E/U and cable on the watch list. Both days - not the choices I had to have. They gained some profit in the long run. Not the profit that would be generated having other pairs on my list traded. AUD/CAD was the pair that has put the balance of my account at least 1.2% up. Decided to have a holiday on Friday.

Weekly profit: 1.2%.

1.2% for the week.....That's a good return.....
that's 60 % + for the year...Keep that up my friend and your trading with the pro's...( most pro's last year were down )

I always aim for a minimum of 20% return on Equity, last year i came up slightly short, But with last year being difficult to say the least i was happy..if you can do this year in year out your there my friend.

Congrats on on your discipline Mr C, its what 90% of traders are missing..
it took me 5 years to get a proper handle on that.

I trade 1-2 % per trade and have a total exposure of no more than 8%.
I was up 3.12% by wed this week from a big R trade, i took 1 more trade at 0.5% to try and protect what i had, turned out at B/E
so i was happy with the week..

Lets hope this year hasnt got whipsaw written all over it like last year.
No more risk on risk off trading..then we can get down for some serious
trading...

Thanks J. Took some time putting everything to normal with the discipline thing too. But it was worth while. It gives you a chance to save what has been earned while trading and not to put it back to to the basket with the losses. Earning is sometimes even easier in all kinds of businesses. Maintaining the profits is the hardest part.

Closing the pair for 85 pips (2.1%) and finishing a series of b/e trades this week. Range template has been used for the position. RR - 1/1.8.
