Stops* for position trades lowered at around 1.2947 and then still above 1.3143 / 64 zone ...

Only a cross of above 1.2859 would stregthen the upside for a limited move towards 1.2900 (corrective in nature) ... palim palim ...

* Stops can be used for entries as well ...

For 1k accounts:

Risk should be no more than 1%. That is ten buckaroos of risk capitol which comes to a 1 buck position. If you are shorting the EUR/USD (the long term trend is down so you really have no business doing counter trend long trades until you are more experienced) I would break up my ten pips as follows:

This is my 1-2-3-4 plan.

-Position 1 pip at a fib breakthrough say 23.6
-Next is 2 pips breaking the 38.2
-Your 3rd position of 3 pips at the 50% retracement
-and your 4th position (if you get that far--don't feel obligated to use all positions) of 4 pips say 20 or so beyond your last trade or wherever the momentum takes you.

What if the market is still going against you? You should be able to sweat it out past a hundred pips. Since you are new, you may want to use a stop loss but be careful. This is where most traders lose there money only to see the market turn in your favor.

One more recommendation. You should, at least at this juncture, stay with one currency pair and I would recommend the EUR/USD. Don't bounce around, or at least just yet. Guys who do multiple pairs are either losers or experienced.

Try that a few times and see what happens.

Thank you for your help. For any sized accounts, lot size should be 10% of the account size and the stoploss should be 1% of the account size. Is that correct I focus only on 1 currency i.e E/U. I did not understand your plan 1-2-3-4. Was that in order to fetch pips?

It can and should but the problem is even though we had good #s for the NFP on friday, Stock market did not rally at all . In fact Eur-Usd went down. In short , Fundies are not supporting bulls at all . I think we may get bounces but they will be sold immediately. This is just my opinion and as you know in forex, anything can happen . We are very close to the Monthly TL ( 2500/30 ) and I think it is hard to beleive that we will go up without touching it . Lets see

Yes ' i was also pretty confused with fundies giving support to usd instead of EUR ' but it did support nzd for a time being and then its just mixed response all over a bit ' we may get a clear picture this week i guess '

On friday, after NFP data release, the market did not respond to fundamentals, it went purely on technicals I beleive.....

Thanks for the support man. To me, you all are good people with loving hearts but everyone has a different point of view about different things and I respect that and thats why I said sorry if someone felt bad. We all need to focus on making pips while keep our minds fresh and healthy. Find a reason to smile here and there is always good. Lets have a great pippin week starting today. Good Luck.
