Hi Guys - what pairs do you trade after 17 or 18 GMT? I found that everything I look at is too less volatile - kinda everyone sleeps..

Is there any pair you can trade after 17 GMT which has a good volatility (for M1 Charts / scalping)

Would love to hear some opinions!

so we have only bored traders out there? :-)

Currently trying a new tactic for this time .. i am curious how many pips i can get out .. currently I have 10 pips (no loss).. trading with 10 units per trade, leverage 100, target 1 pip .. ~1 trade per 10 min.

it's funny and cause of the high leverage and unit size i've made nearly 1000 $ the last hour - wuhu!

I dont watch the market at that time.. I'd check out asian session pairs for movement at that time though.

What pairs are you looking at?

I would love if there where pairs with a good volatility during the night session ..

I look at the "currently dead" pairs like EURUSD etc, the main ones. little movement but good predictable (for me) - good enough to get 1 pip in some minutes .. but beware, to make it profitable you need to risk a good amount of money.

but to be honest - movement is so slow.. it's kinda boring :-)

You mean how many pips you can distract from your account and give it to the market

Not at all. You have something to learn if you imagine that we'll be trading at that time of day ...

What you are looking for is easily found at www.forexticket.co.uk under volatility. They break down the average range of any pair by various timeframes.

EURUSD probly still your best bet, especially if your targetting 1 pip? You don't want to be paying a spread of 3-5 pips if your target is just a fraction of your transaction cost. You'd have to have an awfully high hit rate just to make up for even 1 loss. My second choice would be AUDJPY.
