What is the best server time for H4 trading? GMT+0, GMT+1 or GMT+2?

What is the best server time for H4 trading? GMT+0, GMT+1 or GMT+2? As the data for charting and indicators would be a bit different for H4, I wonder most institutional and general traders prefer to use which server time.

I usually trade at the open of London market. It would be the open of the 3rd candles of H4 if we use GMT+1 (London DST), but still the 2nd one of GMT+0. As there are fewer GMT+1 brokers, I now use GMT+2 and I think it could be a bit better than GMT+0, which is lagging behind GMT+1. What are your comments on this issue? Thanks.

H4 candles for DOING WHAT? it's like asking what type of car is the best.... you'd need a sedan in some cases and an SUV in others....

This link may be of help.

I did some research into 4 hour candles - re signals generated - when using different time frames. I found no significant differences, I opted to instead to use different time charts. 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24,wk,mn on a GMT+2 platform.

If your thoughts are to configure what I call a 'rolling 4-hour' candle. - every hour the candle reflects the previous 4 hours, which is what I attempted to do w/ 4 diff TZ MT4 packages running at the same time. Interesting but confusing. I found an indicator that would glob the candles - but it was confusing on screen. It's on my list of items to revisit when next the markets slow down. Probably the holidays. I think there's something there - just not sure how to exploit it.
In trading, there is no bullshit. You either make money or you don't.

Honestly, it really does not matter.

You may want to choose a broker that starts the 4hr bar with the 'open' of London, but really, in the end, it just does not matter.

This is coming from someone who trades naked, and thus the open and close of the bars are fairly important to me

The strategy you use determines the TF and not the other way around.

I would agree with jake that in the end it really doesn't matter, but if you had to choose a time
from which your 4HR candles began, choosing one that would start at either
5PM est (GMT -2 this time of year) or Midnight London (GMT +/- 0) would atleast
sync your candles wih the start of the New York session or the start of the day in London.
London is a very important point of presence for the global foreign exchange markets.

Also, with GMT -2, you won't have the "little candle" on Sunday nights.
I find that midget candle distracting on chart granularity larger than 1 HR.
(no offense intended to anyone reading this who happens to be really short).
Damn, I hate PC culture.

On second thought, Bwaaaahahhahaa if you're a midget.
Little people crack me up !!

Anyway, you can't change server time on some platforms like MetaTrader, so
you have to write something to make the candles open and close when you want them to.
