Hi,

I'm looking for an MT4 forex broker with GMT-5 Server Time. This is the EST New York Local Time, not the daily closing candle time at 5pm. I understand the latter is used by most traders, but my strategy does not work with this. I am only interested in the New York timezone (eg: london time: 1pm, new york time 8am).

I'm currently using OANDA but they have emailed me to say that On "August 3rd, 2018, the OANDA-GMT-5 Practice server will be retired".

Any help will be appreciated.

Not MT4 but have you had a look at TradeInterceptor? You can choose your timezone (& daily candle closes) to be local, GMT or EST. If you are trading off the Dailies, I'm guessing you'll have plenty of time to check levels with TradeInterceptor then place trades on whichever MT4 forex broker you choose...

I've checked Trade interceptor and it's very helpful but I have a couple of indicators which give me a signal to trade. Unfortunately these indicators will not work on Trade Interceptor.

Hi there mate. I am facing the same problem, I have been using the Oanda GMT-5 Server until they decided to close it few weeks ago. At the moment I am still looking for a solution and havent found one. What about you? have you found what you looking for ?
Does it have to be MT4? I'm only asking because when using cTrader, you can set the time to whichever timezone you choose.
I found this on the IC Markets website:
The chart time on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms reflects server time, which cannot be changed. For cTrader platform however, you may set the time as per your local timezone.

Any good?

Hi, Yes I found one:

Their MT4 charts are exactly same as oanda gmt -5.
