Hi, Bill Thank you. My analysis is that inside bar got retraced from fib level 38.2 and the next candle got support in 38.2 and moved up till 50 fib level .. now if market has low volume then I can make money selling it from next candle closing again it @ 38.2 or securing my profit there and hold for further down .... overall trend shows bullishness to test again 1.3000 ... so instead i'll wait rather placing any quick trade and see how that 1.30xxx level reacts ...

My good friend owns an Italian restaurant in Montreal. They have a New Year Eve supper with drinks and dancing for $105.00 so I will be there at 7:00 PM and enjoy the last 5 hours of my 68Th birthday and then bring in the first hours of the New Year with the family of my friend. He is also the cook so it is almost like having a home cooked meal. I think we are having lamb for supper and lot's of wine. I take the Metro home so I can drink and eat and dance my way into 2012.

The Origin of the Mess

When the financial crisis broke out in the United States in 2008 no commentator showed up to blame the US dollar as the cause of the housing and financial market crisis and to state that the use of a common currency for a large and highly diverse economy such as that of the United States was the root of the problem. Besides blaming the regulatory framework as being either too strict or too lose, it was mainly the monetary policy that was identified as the origin of the current financial crisis. A monetary policy of extremely low interest rates and ample liquidity put in place by the US central bank since the late 1980s had produced an inflated financial sector. The appetite of investors and lenders for high yield risky investments had gotten bigger over the decades in as much as the US central bank had acted in a way that hardened the conviction among financial market operators that there would be a reliable bailout guarantee for the financial system as implicitly pledged by the American central bank.
In Europe, moral hazard was on the rise when planning for a common European currency was put in place in the second half of the 1990s. With the introduction of a common European currency came the belief that because a country such as Greece would use the same currency as Germany or the Netherlands its sovereign debt would be of equal standing. Consequently, it did not take long until bond investors would drive down interest rates of countries such as Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy to the levels of Germany and the Netherlands. As it was the case in the US where financial market operators acted under the delusion of absence of risk during the housing bubble, in Europe it was sovereign debt of the euro-zone members that was held to be risk-free.
In retrospect one can state that the period which some economist identified as the “Great Moderation” was in fact closer to being the time of the “Great Delusion”. Not much different than the politicians in the US who acted as cheerleaders for the mortgage binge in the housing market, governments in Europe were enticed to borrow up to the hilt firstly because interest rates were much lower after they joined the euro-zone and secondly because borrowing was so easy given the willingness of bankers and investors to lend as much as they could in the belief that the investment in bonds of the members of the euro-zone of the Southern periphery would be lucrative and safe (see chart)

Friedman’s analysis of the Great Depression couldn't be more wrong. In 1933 deflation was brought about not by the gold standard but, au contraire, by abolishing it. Here is what actually happened. Roosevelt has removed the only competition government bonds have, gold. The most conservative investors saw their gold confiscated and, willy-nilly, they were forced into the next most conservative instrument, Treasury bonds. Speculators became emboldened and bid [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]bond [COLOR=blue !important]prices[/color][/color][/color] sky high for risk free profits. Had gold been still available, bondholders would have severely punished the speculators for their daredevilry. They would have sold the overpriced bond and stayed invested in gold until bond prices came back to earth from outer space. Then they would have bought their bonds back at a profit.

In the absence of gold, speculators made interest rates go into a tailspin. That caused dominoes in the commodity market fall. Prices collapsed one after another. Pieces on the chessboard started falling as well, symbolizing serial bankruptcies of productive enterprises. Breadwinners of families lost their jobs in droves as money flowed from the commodity market to the bond market in the wake of speculators selling commodities short while buying bonds hand over fist. All the while Keynes was rubbing his hands together behind the scenes exactly like Mephistopheles had in the famous paper money scene of Göthe’s Faust (Part Two).

Conclusion:

The same thing is happening all over again. When a central bank increases the monetary base three-fold in three years, this is a clear invitation for bond speculators to move in and make a killing. But what the central bank utterly fails to understand is that, contrary to its hopes, new money is not going to the commodity market. Speculative risks there are far too great. Instead, new money is going to the bond market where the fun is. Bond speculation is risk-free. Speculators know which side the bread is buttered. Krugman doesn’t.

Dr. Paul is the conscience not just of the G.O.P., but of the entire nation. Through inflation or through deflation, the mad orgy of money creation that makes mockery of the Constitution will finish the Keynesian agenda of ruining the nation and the world economy.

Krugman’s joy over the supposed defeat of Austrian economics is premature. Bernanke’s Fed in blissful ignorance is still putting money in the hands of speculators which they use to place bets on the further fall of interest rates and commodity prices. The day of reckoning comes when falling interest rates destroy capital and, together with it, destroy budding job opportunities. The lethargy of businessmen will continue. They will not start hiring as long as the interest-rate structure is in falling mode.

Recent High Low mate .. that's it working good for me

10 points difference ... u r right ... i see this as Zone so +/- 10 is ok for me since believing in an exact number in this fluctuating volatile market has no meaning ....

glad you appreciated the chart, then when you spoke about it you lost me lol. i know about fibs etc but the way i trade i dont use them. and as i have already said they dont always work and it is almost the end of the year and was end of trading week. But it was a good example. I havent traded since before 22nd and am waiting for new year. i wonder how a/u is getting on i reckon its going to drop (thats not a prediction) its what my stats say. anyway take care
