Hard to say, hard to say. Price action still favors the upside but market is yet undecided in the long term. The last bounce off of support (circa 1.0042) was convincing.

Did you see the price of gold? Deflation is comming, if central banks don't print some money... During deflation periods commodities go down, so does the AUD ... but yes, nobody knows exactly

You might be right - i don't know surely good reasoning but the market is irrational many times. The market could stall out here. Being it's Friday and end of year I prefer to be on the sidelines.

well

a rise in USDX is going to lead to a decline in any pair which is trades against the USD. so it does make sense that as USDX rises, AU falls.

still hanging in there. a break in the LTL and i'm out though

Trading my USDCHF (long) pair as a substitute of the AUDUSD (short) pair (as mentioned in an earlier post).....

Have worked out well so far... apart from the brain fart I hard earlier today in which I bought 1 lot instead of 0.01 lot.... grrrrrrrr

i would like to see a retrace to 1.0100 or 1.0070
before going up to 1.0220+

Today could be the moment of truth on this pair. the 100d MA is at approximately 1.02 and 1.02 option expiry at NY 10am EST

hard to say though, markets are not open for long today.. very very thin. any kind of movement wont be very reliable

Gold made a lower low, other currencies are over sold yet people want to buy AUD/USD? Also, It's the last day of the year for trading. Today is obviously unpredictable.
