been popping in from time to time but did not trade much fx this year. especially since july when the turmoil in europe really kicked off. too busy doing corporate and govies.

how are you, your trading going well ?

yeah thanks I like tiny amounts of initial risk that compounds into profit.. thats just my thing.. I like to spread it also to build more risk.. little in fx .. little in us equities etc...

indeed, but there you go....you can't have it all.

i knew exaclty what was happening but i cannot trade everything. i assure you that i am pretty satisfied they way the year played out in the fixed income sector. especially trading italy, spain and greece

A lot of thread starters edit the very 1st page with links and relative method information to make going through the thread and finding key information easier and even creating a basic outline of the method.

It is a lot of work to do, but a lot of work has already put into this thread. Who knows, maybe one day someone will go through and create a PDF file for the thread and consolidate all the information for easy digestion.

looking to close this out at 500-600 pips profit....

I think well should start seeing some compression around the 2400 region on the euro if not sooner.. first CAP Compression area around 2400-2600

well right now my thoughts are.. this market is definitely a hard market to read even for pros which is why hedgefunds have been bleeding money... we are seeing a lot of over extension in some pairs and some possible new trends starting/continuing for others near term to long term..

Near term and long term we believe the aud/usd to still be a good buy as long as you build into the trade slowly as you move into profit protecting yourself as you build. We think that the usd strength should be slowing down but not ending which should give a boost to usd based assets

The eurozone is still in a tailspin assuming they can even create a steady ground they are still pretty much boned but around this 2400-2600 area there should be some demand enough for a possible decent retracement even to 1.35ish region this is not my choice for a long tho as the ird is narrow and there is no real solution behind the move.

carrying our trade from last year the eur/aud is still a short holding but we are not investing any new capital as the movement is seemingly matured and we are worried about the capitulation around the europairs and the huge floating losses on euroshorts in the orderbook at the bottom that could be taken anytime.

Jan 2012 trading like this with .2% initial risk on trades resulted in 7.5% total account growth over 83 trades ... which if trading continues this year can lead to total 110% growth yearly lets hope month 2 goes just as well...
