With the EUR/USD chart currently in consolidation mode due to the lack of flows during the holiday season, time to take a step back and analyse the overall picture.
Though the chart looks decidedly bearish with the fall from around 1.49 extending to 1.2940, I’m going to put my contrarian cap on and be in dip buying mode heading into the new year. From the chart shown above, strong support is seen immediately below, and the Euro will find a grateful buyer in me hoping to pick up a few positions from any dips through 1.30 down to 1.2850.

I also like your analysis. Thanks to watching PK, he's got me looking back into the S/D stuff. I've found this goes very well with my system.
We just recently came off a Demand area that dates back to Jan 2011. There are a couple of smaller time frame Supply areas above where price is now.
As far as the fundamentals, one must keep in mind that the news is almost always darkest at the bottom and brightest at the top. Also EZ economic numbers are looking a bit better lately and US numbers are mixed at best.
The one main issue I have with the...
Take a look at that nice demand zone where she stopped in her tracks this time down. Looks like she hit a brick wall. Last weeks candle was a doji too.
