Hello, friends. First, I want to wish you all a Happy New Year and I hope that all of us to have a very successful year.
Here are my 2 trades of today:
1)35/50H4, RN, DR2 and 200 H1. I took the trade a bit late, but the idea is that I waited a goog rejection signal from M5 (double top). I exited at 35M15.
2)12M5 first touch after a good M1 signal. I exited for 5,5p only because I had 3 requotes at 7-8p, but that's still good.
I will try to post as much as I can from now on even if I do it here on the thread as I don't have access to the new...
the 2nd trade has ok but late (as you say).
today was a clear lightly trending day perfect for dancing as it seems, i only hope the market stays like that.
just my quick view in this. i hope more people can give you a better critique. keep practicing the basics first

Asos is actually absolutely right.
Trend was UP for M5, M15 and H1.
Not yet for H4 at that moment (and not for Daily), but already that situation of indecision should have not given a correct entry.
But
I took the same !Only a bit higher at the Touch again of the H4 and exited for about 15 pips.
What I now think is:
Knowing that it was a counter trend trade and I was sure that the best exit point was the touch of the 35 in confuence with the RN 1,2975...why did I not take the reverse long ???
Ok, no greed. We must learn to live with that.
(I damn don't know why, but I tend to prefer short trades at all...that is absolutely not good! )
That was also for me the first trade in real of 2012.

hello, the first trade is a bit unusual and risky, the trend was clearly up and even for an H4 play the H4 10 was coming up fast and it didnt seem to have enough room for profit there. you did very good to exit that one with profit.

No idea why these are good setups. They are nothing but just winners, not good setups at all (at least not for me, at least not basic/clear setup types). There are unlimited winners on the charts and one could have 100% a day if they were able to take them all, but good setups are much harder to find.Not everyone on FF is as honest as you, please keep on speaking the truth.

In this case I expected the price to touch all the levels including WP and after that to give me a signal. The 2 bottom from M5 was a good one but the entry would have been too far from the SL level (behind WP) and that was not a good setup for me.
