in my field i learned to multi task well, but i will drop dead one of these days between my oncall nights, the office, the visits, the trading, the forex factory addiction

i am curious.............what...
I trade for a living and sometimes I take on short term IT projects.
But mostly I am addicted to (in the following order of preference):
1. My wife
2. My charts
3. CNBC
4. Forex Factory
5. My Blackberry
Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it

that angle/TL the one that is support-like that is downwawrd sloping a bit that seeems stable. u might want to short on that retest i think and not the channel. channel seems dead i think...

I'm an online entrepreneur, made and sold a few vertical portals. Now live by a few online businesses related to blogging, (I kinda know how to code and use this to my advantage sometimes), also do a bit of business consulting.

Like FXMindset, I consider Forex Trading being 80% self and 20% skills. Those 20% are relatively easy to cover, I'm working on my 80% (you can safely call me a personal development junkie) so far so good. But I'm kind of a slow learner (I'm twice divorced, that should say a lot about how slow am I learning stuff) but I'm enjoying the trip. Also, Apple fanboy (addicted to my Mac & iPhone & iPad).

All of my friends married now and left me alone - each of them have own business backed up with their wealthy parents - am nothing honestly - build and run everything by myself - and keep falling and falling till now

Why am trading ? The reason may be shock all of you..
Because am hate interact with people
i have been a succesfull sales manager for several years and dealing with many kinds of people,as time pass and people grow ,everyone try to cheat and using one each others..even friends...because of "Money"

That one is a masterpiece & I second it. A clear mind free of clutter is best for trading. For me when things are good on the home front my trading is at its best. When things are not.....I take a break.

Two question......are you not trading currency futures & if so what are the pitfalls compared to forex? Thanks for your response.

I'm a broker (agricommodities only) and trying to understand this forex mkt and who knows if I can live only trading.
fx trading has no clients, but brokering has no risk at all...

it has nothing to do with what surrounds you, but it has to do with yourself
how good you can make your plans ,and how good you can decide for yourself ,

to make it easier heres the sort of perspective in drawing

the steeper ur angle(trendline) the less stable it is of holding a trend. the less steep it is the more liekly it would be to hold a trend



dont ask why coz i dont know. its above me, but its what i observed on price's reaction to geometry and different angles. trendlines are geometry believe it or not.



again it all depends on what ur eye sees. the geometrical formula is too complicated.
It has to do with the nature of trends and prices tendency to overreact. The shallower trend line will likely show the real direction of the higher TF trend while the sharper lines show a market reacting.

The key thing about price is that it is always wrong. The market always overreacts. And once it does that it needs to correct. When it corrects it will crash through the steep trend lines, but bounce off of the shallow ones.

Seems to me like you are calling some pretty good trades. Keep that up and I don't see why you would want to do anything else with your life. Besides, your parents are lucky to have you so close to home.
