I found a big round "39" red number with the key to the box. Who likes "39" for ups or downs. Is it a good number in itself such as 888 which Chinese like?

I think it really depends a lot on why are you visiting FF.
What I realized is very few people here (e.g. cloggie and crew) are actually good traders. why? simple because if you are a real trader, then you don't spend time here. I used to spend quite a lot of time here. Then I realized.. why? trading itself is taking really a lot of time.. analyize a lot of charts, and then futures and volumes etc. etc. then, you really don't want to spend extra-time on chatting in forums I think. What I actually learned most around was not here, was probably on the thousands of trading clips on youtube or many other trading sites. So what am I doing here? just passing by :-) it's sunday at the end! :-)

I agree. Its a superficial rule that tries to filter people with knowledge but end up turning out like you said. With that being said, I was referring to the other user as being fully focused on the bullshit behind the vouching system because for some (himself included) vouches mean status within FF.
More than any vouches, I came here learn, win and be profitable.

I agree, but not only because participating in here is time consuming, but also because you get caught in the trolls and childish behaviour of some traders. Not all.

Not everyone treats vouches the same way. I am sure most heavily vouched members do feel sense of responsibility. After getting few vouches they think twice before making a comment. And yes, there is an option for members to take back their vouches. The vouching system itself has its merits, but it is upto the FF community how they use or misuse this system.

Thanks Martingale that was very uplifting. I can see that you are really into the holiday spirit.

As a Noob I find FF very helpful in getting an understanding about how FOREX works. I find many of the trading threads loaded with people willing to share their thoughts to help people invest wisely. We need all the help we can get to aviod losing our $ to the greedy banks and institutional traders.

Yes, its not a bad idea, but every rule that depends too much on responsability or human moral (just too name an analogy) looses its purpose easily as people get corrupt or forget the principles the rule tries to apply.
Yes you are right, and yes also there is people who uses the vouching system without any responsability.

From my point of view, the less I care about it and the more I focus on learning, the better for me and the community.

Well, who knows but big trend is down. It is December/Year End, Markets are getting thinner, Big Boys unwinding positions, so big moves could go in both directions. LOL!!! When I read on FF news (why it even makes news) that Lindsay Lohan's issue of Playboy falls flat (who would want that anyway). It makes me think WFT why am I even trading now. I should wait till January and enjoy my Holiday!

Sorry bro I have visitors, I have already made this weeks quota, so I very very happy, usual trade plan for weekly opens, been very nice start, I am letting other ladies show the way they are down, so i am happy kiwi has broken and retest ltl 1hr aussie similar is speed bump 9906ish, will see how she react there cable same she broken ltl 1hr and retest, usd and swissy is build round bottoms which is odd but I ll take it so to me direction is clear, entry is problem, needed close to opens as possible, every 10 20 pips down is get trickier, trade safe bro
