Max found an error in the Futures offset, this does not effect anything else, so here is the fix.

This is version 1.02

I had already added to this next version Higher Highs Candle Opens and Lower Lows Candle Opens, ( I hope that makes sense). You can set this from 2 to 6 candles, what it does is look for the number of candles you have picked, (say 4) and looks to see if 4 candles are all the same color and they have progressively higher candle Opens for a Long or lower candle Opens for a short, its looking for a trend up or down. It takes at least 2 candles to start a trend and you can select up to 6. If you try a number outside this range it will warn you but will continue and it will use 2 by default.

This is an entry filter:

HLO="- - - - - - - - - - - Higher/Lower Opens - - - - - - - - - -";
UseHigherLowerOpens = false;
HigherLowerCandles = 2;

UPDATE my Daily Trades i closed them manually with +114pips NSD/USD and +54pips USD/CAD because the TEMPTATION was to strong i had to change the EA from TMSv22 to Expert ToolBox v1

Shorting side only today too , Let's see if we can make it a 200-300 pips day, or just another 20-50 pips day.

I think I have gone Brain Dead, I just realized that I forgot to add the alert bars to the right side of the chart for the High/Low Candle Open filter. So if you try that new filter you won't see anything on the chart even though it is working.

Will wait and see if any more bugs show up before I post the fix, probably this week end.

Getting to old for this, brain is turning to mush.

Here is (I think) the set file, anyway this is the one I will be using tonight. I keep making minor adjustments so hard to tell if this is the exact one.

Remember the times are in CST, so adjust yours as needed.

here i uploaded my H1 m15 Set File thats converted to use with the Experts Tool Box v1.02 this is the exact same settings that i used with the previous EA TMS v22 or the Template seller9 posted earlier today.

Just had my first trade using maxzeus set file. Price hit the TP set by the EA, 35 pips on NZDJPY. Only started trading this set file from 2 hours into New York session on Thursday. Trade taken about 1 hour before Tokyo session, so not at a peak time. Not an ideal entry as near daily resistance, price did hang around that point a while before busting through upward.

Live account. Broker: FX Primus ECN. Pairs: EU, GU, EJ, GJ, AU, EG, NJ, GC, CJ, NU, AJ, USDCAD, USDCHF, AN, AC. Hours: 24/5. No news filtering (for now).

Lets see how this set file goes under various market conditions and look for possible tweaks.

After searching FF i didn't find this "hanover" s**t, that you guys are using.
Is it an indicator or what?
The only hanover i found is an EA made by steve hopwood. Is this the one?
I'm asking because i'm trying to backtest the maxzeus's set file to see what the EA is doing and when, and it does nothing.... The hanover scale is dead, showing nothing and i presume this is the culprit for EA's behaviour.

L.E. Seller9, i was looking into your set file, and i think the logic in it enters the trade too late. If there was a routine or something to let the profits run, i think it is ok to enter this late, but heaving a win/loss ratio of almost 1:1 is a little tricky to have good results in the long run. I believe, after reading and rereading the BigE's rules, entering the third candle isn't acceptable(on fourth you better consider doing something else).
Is there a way to count the candles as a filter? This option is good for exiting as well, because knowing that a swing will usually have only 3-5 candles, you can tell to exit on 5th, if the TP wasn't hit.

Recent Strength Indicator by Hanover

The EA called "hanover" by Steve Hopwood uses the Recent Strength Indicator authored by the FF trader name, Hanover.

Any EA can use the Recent Strength Indicator by Hanover, in its trading logic.

I've already downloaded it, put it in the expert folder, but the hanover indicator is still dead.
Any suggestion?
Sorry guys for bothering you. but i think this bot is truly awesome, and even with few options like i'm testing it right now, i was able to make 86$ yesterday and 46$ today.

Here is what you need to get Hanover up and running the easy way.

1) Put "hanover.tpl" in your template folder
2) Put "Output---Recent Strength" and "Presets---Recent Strength" in your files folder.
3) Put "Recent Strength.ex4" in your indicators folder.

5) Restart your MT4 program
6) Open a extra Pair chart to put the Hanover template on. One that gets a lot of Tics.
7) Attach the "Hanover" template to this chart. It may take a few minutes to update.
8) You should be getting the Recent Strength indicator display now in this chart window.
9) Go to your Files Folder and see that the "Output---Recent Strength" file is updating every minute durring an active session. If it does not update check your rights to the files folder and make sure you have write privies.

You should now get readings in the EA on the Hanover Graph and it should look like this.

Read the last PDF I posted, it shows the candle patterns you can use so you will not enter after the 2nd candle.
Use Pattern 2 and Pattern 3, set these to true and also set use candle patterns to true.

Remember it may open the trade at the open of the 3rd candle, to me this is the same as the close of the 2nd.

If you only want to open within a certain number of minutes at just the open of the candle then use the candle window and set how many minutes you want it to be active.

You also need to use the TDI filter rather than the Confirming TDI filter if you want it to act like the Big E method.

All the answers are in the PDF and on the forum, a nice weekend read.

Fixed a few minor bugs that poped up last night so thought I would send this new version out along with last nights M15 report.
Here are the results from last night runnng the last set file for M15 I posted on EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURJPY, GBPJPY.
2 winners and 1 loser.
I have included a new set file I am going to try next week, it has the following changes.

1) TPmulitplier = 2.0 (Was 1.5)
2) SLmultiplier = 2.0 (Was none)
3) UseMa CandleClosedToClose = false

I feel I got knocked out of the GBPJPY trade a little to soon so thought I would just try a fixed SL, you don't have to, do what you feel works for you. I also increased the fixed TP multiplier from 1.5 to 2.0, as I feel that is a safe move to get a few more pips. Turned off the MaCandleClose, so will only have the fixed SL as my safety net, gives me a RR of 1:1.

Feel free to use what you think works for you, these settings in no way mean they are the best.

Please post your results, GOOD or BAD, so we all can see what works and what doesn't work.

I downloaded your toolbox, and it looks much sharper and cleaner than the MTS EA. Very nice work.
I played a little with its settings, and after some backtesting i found this error : '2011.12.17 01:12:432011.12.13 17:00 Experts_Tool_Box_V1.01 AUDUSD,H1: AUDUSD buy trade. Jumping stop function failed to set SL at breakeven, with error(1): no error '

Is it form the Toolbox or because of the backtesting?
