You would think that it would drive the USD up and so give your position a lift. What actually happens is it drives the US stock market up which drives the USD down which drives the Euro up.
My point exactly i lost a couple of good trades because i thought the data would be posotive for the USD and so push the EURUSD down but hey win some lose some and i am learning a lot here so thankyou all.

I just watch it for the color to visualize the money flow. It is delayed data updates itself about every five minutes. If the reds aregetting brighter and brighter the money is flowing out of those assets. If the greens are getting brighter the money is flowing into those assets.

Don't give up on it just yet. It is forming a good base right now. If no horrible news comes out of Europe, this puppy will give us a nice shorting opp within the next two weeks.

Hi, I'm using the google translator, I do not speak English, I commented these 2 weeks cost me more u $ s 700 EURUSD falling real, I can hardly follow the terminology they use it's own English-speaking, I would like to consult you as I read your post and you have clear the issue forex, greetings and thanks

if I may ask, do you have limits in place? I am scaled in up through 3170 by fib levels in increasing lot sizes and again just shy of the 3300 and 3400.

My other internet connection is worse than that. 2.5Mbps down and 0.28Mbps up
That's why I got this new service.. Much better and I can see the difference in the chart updates. Awesome.

thats just .5 mbps slower than mine. wireless and i gotta share with the flock - my brother, my other brother, my mother.

3/4 = 0.75 mbps.

I do normally use limit orders but during times of low volume and high volatility, I choose to make my trade decisions on the fly. If I miss it, no biggie. I usually don't trade this time of year.
