if u even wanna try doing what i do go with a long nad a 30 pip stop.

dow is registering a long setup, eu as well.
eurx as well.

3 things telling me to go long i dont think i should ignore it.

BTW im not proivding signals its just analysis.



i got rumours from vennd my buddy from usdcad thread about SNB intervening possibly today or tommorow and other CB's possibly joining as well...

so pft i hoenstly think best thing to do is follow ur analysis, follow YOUR heart.

Is this a round about book recommendation? If it is, I will get it and read it from cover to cover.

When it comes to S/R, I am pretty sloppy. I identify prices with bounce potential and then wait for market confirmation that it is taking the bounce seriously. If I have an open position, I will close all or part of it there. If I don't have a position and I like the direction it is moving I will open a position there.

What are you going to do if the Euro breaks 1.18? There is nothing down there more recent than 2006.

It's a very solid book for the fundamentals of technical analysis. I haven't read it all but I use it for reference.

1.2975 need to be break to see 1.28

Break 90 - It wont go lower - time for long !
Break 85 - No way - BOJ ready take action - Time for long!
Break 80 - Its BOJ area - Dont short - Better long!
Break 79 - Lets load our long!
Break 78 - 77 - 76 etc..

Lesson ; There is no reason for going long or short because over short or bought - Just look the patterns

You may long - But remember always using protection - SL
Trade without SL and hold your loss thats mean you try to prove you are right than Mr.Market

I am pretty much an advocate of the "school of hard knocks" approach - learn by doing and observing, adapting etc. But books have their place. Murphy is a good one on TA if you have to have just one. I think what a trader really needs to learn can't be learned from a book - its a psychological game. In that regard, the books by Steenbarger are helpful:

I think we will have some more efforts "to save the euro" before we get to 1.18 - but I could be wrong of course.....

You know I like beeing a smarta$$, so let me tell you how I create S/R. First, I take weekly numbers - High/Low/Close and mark em. Then I take last days OHLC and if market shows S/R even two three days back. Although price often does not reach these precise points she tends to slow down and create S/R when coming closer to these strong numbers. So then I add H1 S/R and time my intraday entry.

Just went through the table of contents. Pretty awesome. I'll definitely get a copy. Any recommendations for books on market structure or futures markets?

BTW -- you don't need to worry about me missing out on the school of hard knocks. The market gives me a few every day.

Darkstar's book about order flow got a lot of great reviews and comments. persoanlly i want one, but not yet...

$150 really seems a bit steep for a book. I guess I will get it when I run out of other things to learn... in another 10 years or so.
