Closing in on the Week range low mark. I can hear the pit bosses in the BB's trading rooms.....

"Come ON, guys! Hit it harder! Drive it down now, now, NOW! Hit the weekly range low area! .........then we still have the better part of the week to drive it back UP! 200 pips down today, and 400 pips back up by Friday! Come On, guys. Let's make some MONEY!"

Adding short is better choice than opening long, in the time like that.. Sir..Example riding along sonic short re-entry..

With as hard as the price had been driven down, and a range braking day at that, and outside of London session, well........I had no intentions of messing with that drop, long or short! I am content to wait and see what the next LO brings. There was already too much water over the dam, and it was too late in the day to fart with it.

Hi, regards to getting overall bias thru H4/D1. What is the range from the chart shld we look at ?

Lets say we open H4, shld once glance on the overall chart or only few days of H4 chart? becox posibility the left half of the H4 chart is uptrend and half chart of the right is in down trend.

maybe its individual preferrence/confident, just wana ask any opinion to share.. thanks

Thanks tah, now i understand. a nice setup should be seen during 1-4/7-11 period. earlier i tot the setup can be monitor at any hour, but only the entry take place during that 2period.

On D or H4 charts, just look for an extreme bullish or bearish recent candle, like a hammer or a engulfing candle. This could result in a Sonic R. setup.

Getting a bias from just the overall "look" of the D or H4 chart is not a help. In fact, by communicating a bias to you, you could end up looking to trade the wrong direction on M15! You could end up seeing things that aren't there, and miss seeing what is there! PA on the M15 is what the market is currently deciding it to be, regardless of the overall "look" on D or H4. Trade what the M15 chart says, and be good with your money management.

Look at it this way. M15 has it's own heart beat, regardless of D or H4. It might beat strongly or weakly, but it beats to it's own tune. And it doesn't necessarily care whether the overall "look" of D/H4 is going up or down. But it's beating might be in tune with the "follow-up" of a D/H4 hammer or engulfing candle! And in this regard, H4 is probably more important than the Daily.

Still have trade on this, but even if not, it is one with PA not so flat as others. Level top and higher lows, could break up, not to mention that after two days of falling a retrace might be in order.

Frankfurt open was over 30 minutes ago, and the market is very quiet. The quiet before the storm? Or, it might just turn out to be a dull day. The market accomplished quite a lot already this week. Maybe it doesn't know what to do next? We'll see.

Edit: Updated chart. I swear that this is looking bullish to me, what with that last stab down that brought in the very high relative volume. But still have to wait to see.

Edit: Added example trade layout. I am already in a trade on this, but the 2nd pic. shows a trade possibility if PA breaks upwards. If that happens, hopefully the Dragon will have some upwards angle on it, because right now it does not!

Looking at 5 min EU and GU. Volume is picking up, could be something brewing or not (like in the past day or so). Waiting for good PA.

After much slide for past few days, EU is foaming a box between 1.300x and 1.304x..

See where it breaks..

Hi, how shld we graps the S&R. sonic sys is using S&R but am a bit lost, shld graps S&R of yesterday's high-low fibo or 60min shi channel or obvious high-low from H4 chart? the top blue line is resistant, the lower blue line is last support bcome resistant, then next support is?

I'm trying to find an EA that will allow me to close all open trades with just one click. I've actually downloaded a couple of them, but had no success getting them to function. I'm looking for something fairly simple to use. Anyone out there have one, or know where I might find a good one? Thanks in advance.

Fioon, one of my problems has been setting a firm TP and by doing so, missing out on a good, long run of PA. If you have the time to sit and watch a trade, you could pick a mental point and if things appear to be turning bad, just close the trade at that point. Otherwise, just let it run and set a higher TP as you go along.

Here is an example for EU:

My H4 chart still has a bit over 2 hours to go, but so far it is shaping up as a hammer/bullish. If the current H4 candle completes as a hammer, then a SonicR long setup may be coming, though perhaps tomorrow. In other words, as the M15 Dragon continues down, PA might drop to create another low before moving up thru the Dragon. All this could transpire up to the next LO, with a breakout up occurring in the London session tomorrow. We just have to be patient.

In the past 8 trading days PA has dropped 600 pips, so if we get a move up it won't matter if it is just a pullback or a trend change, it could be for 300 pips (50% retrace).

That is not the Sonic R. System. Some think if PA is above the central pivot, that is bullish and that PA is going to climb. Maybe, and maybe not. In any case, that is not the Sonic R. System. Pivots, central and otherwise are aides to selecting TPs, not to define WHEN to make a trade entry. A proper PA wave, proper angle on Dragon, PA on proper side of Dragon (and better still if on proper side of Trend Line) and during the London session, .....all these things go into defining WHEN to make a trade entry.

Hi makassar.

Many have come here and, at one time or another, put MACD on their charts to proclaim divergence, suggesting it be used as an indicator.

Sonicdeejay is adamant about not adding lagging indicators to the chart. And that includes MACD. And I agree with him. And regarding MACD in particular, divergence can sometimes exist for a very long time before PA turns in the other direction.

The MACD, and all technical indicators are derived from the price itself, they are all derivatives of price. We have the price, and with Sonic R. there is no need for price derivatives. That is why Sonicdeejay has stripped them from the chart in favor of a volume indy. Volume is the only indicator not derived from price.

As the boss of your own trading, you can add whatever you want to your chart, but Sonicdeejay has recommended against doing this. Adding such indicators will only distract you from focusing on PA waves and S&R, which are fundamentals of the Sonic R. System.

Sonic R. is about PA waves, support and resistance, and trading when the most money is at work in the market, the London session, to increase the odds that any Sonic R. setup run will be sustained long enough for decent profit to be made.
