Just closed 75% of position at 1.3163, +170 pips. SL at BE for now. Entered near open of the daily for my broker. Letting the rest ride out. Lets see if we can break that weekly S2 and Monthly S1.

No clique here.

Btw, one guy asked for simmilar thing today at EurAnalysis thread. But he was in much worse shape than you. He actually went long at 1,35 . This was my advice:

Ok, seriously. Damn, I would like to help you, but I seriously dont know how exactly. Noone can tell you where the price will go with certainity.

Depends on your margin, but you can
a) hedge - this is a very bad solution, but in current circumstances could be considered viable
b) wait for retracement to something like 332 and close.
c) close now.

Isnt SL somewhat one of the most crucial parts of your system?...

I agree with you, this is the most important lesson i need to learn and i still did not learn it. It is easy to control trade with a safe margin + reasonable s/l and dont add more positions when it's losing but still hard to dicipline cut the loss earlier...

THat is the best thing to do because any trade you are going to take from here today is going to be a revenge trade and you will not pick good entries, you will trade just about anything just to make your 100 pips back.

I reackon that your average winner is roughly 20 pips each, so you only need 5 winners to make this one back, having such a massive fuckup means that statistically it is most likely followed by some decent ones, just find 5 of them tomorrow and you are back to even.

Retrace? we are still exactly where we were 3 hours ago, you again are looking at a few green bars on the M1 and getting angry, all day that mentality got you down 100 pips, what makes you think you can use that now to trade?
