Your system continues to make my trading run more smoothly. I have increased the amount of withdrawal requests to my broker by 30% since adding Symphonie to my trading methods.

I know your system is good just as it is but I am including a pic with 2 simple indicators. The blue line is a Gann Hi Lo Acitvator set to 5, the yellow line is a moving average set to 5 typical hlc/3.

Sometimes when I get out of a trade for whatever reason I use the cross of the Gann and MA as a reentry point as a second confirmation of what Symphonie is already telling me. It works best from Frankfurt to London close. I marked three reentry points with green lines. I reenter on the close of the candle that made the cross.

If anyone likes it fine, if not, then just ignore.

nope. im out. im always scared since i dont have charting, nor pivot skills so i set targets based on experience with the symphonie which are hard numbers (this time together with schaff). the schaff is a leading indicator (prone to repainting upto 2 bars behind). it hasn't hooked even for a second for the last 2.5hrs.

like i said earlier, ill get 100 pips by monday. perhaps it will slightly go down to 1.3390 (??) then proceed to top yesterday's top.

then a bull on monday's jap mkt! yey! i like rallies!

time will tell if im correct.

this symphonie is ..... a monster! i like!

Yeap, the symphonie as it is, is a BEAST. Loving it about now. I dont know you have this on your chart already but EMA set 55 is a great filter. Just take a look at my chart on the previous page.

the best EMA ive seen that keeps you out of whipsaws is 5 EMA, typical, shift 2 or 3 in M5.

i dont have a software to know exactly what the supertrend consists of but it definitely behaves like an EMA. i think schaff has both EMA and stochs so i embraced myself and decided not to open such indicators anymore...

btw, the schaff just hooked.... then it indicates "oversold"... i asked myself aren't you suppose to hit 3390 first before you continue buying again???

i forgot i have an AC trade still open!!! so another 46 pips
i was wondering were the alert was coming from.... noob

30+19+50+46 = 145 + 196 = 341 or 68% of the weekly 500 pip target (EU only)

for the lindrich system
34 trades at 10pips per trade = 340 pips vs the 760 of last week (50 SL got hit twice, EU and AC)

i cant do 2 currencies and 2 systems at the same time. therefore, im going back to SEFC since im banking that december will not be a ranging month. but i will continue to practice Lindrich as January will be the new ranging month (if a not a crawling bear/bull)

time will tell if im right....

trade balance, impact: high = really?

Yes I am, already at BE because of the US Open.
I don't like that position because based on the ECC news this morning EU appears to be a bit bullish ...

I went short, I was a little scared due to the timing (trade balance announcement), but I just followed SEFC blindly and it paid off, as it normally does! Decent 33 pips

Well that one took out my SL, oh well, going to happen 20% of the time... might just call it a day/week

Here's my bad trade (because like any trading strategy nothing is perfect!) my SL is set to 25 pips on M5.

NEW Account Statistics Report week 6

As I have done for the past Fridays, I am posting my weekly Account Statistics Report on the NEW Account. Also, please remember that I am only trade EURUSD only in 15 min timeframe and only during EURO and beginning US market times. No more 24 hr trading for me. Getting too old to do that.

As you can see from the report the thread account recovered very well this past week. The market was again really jumpy and I would have espected a bounce in the markets with the EU Sumit and all the problems with European Debt issues and the great cover-up by European Politician. Overall, the week is pretty much at the same level that it started in the 1.33 - 1.34 range area. So it looks like the same old story...

I am STILL looking of for some resolution (even temporary) to the Euro crisis that will cause a relief rally to end the year but only the markets will determine.

As you can see from the chart the thread account was choppy from last week but we are well ahead of the curve looking to break the magical 10k mark and start trading full lot sizes.

I have an indicator in mind that I would like to get programmed. I could ask MaryJane but I know she doesn't like to program much, so is there another member willing to give it a try ?

I believe it is simple, but not sure. It is based on a simple moving average with few more conditions, once finished it would look similar to the coral indicator.
