DislikedI'm thinking of getting an ipad for more flexibility,but I dont know if it works with all these custom indicators and mt4. Does anyone know how this ipad thing works with trading and if its favorable,or if there is another tablet that will work fine just like windows.

Hi all, just checking what's new 
from what i see, the market is painfully sloooow, daily ranges are small (wow, i see 102 pips EU, 66 pips AU.. that's poverty!) I'm glad for myself coz i'm almost not trading at all, still fighting some unpleasant (and partially unexpected) duties. Made some 3 or 4 quick trades since last Thursday. The price action is quite easy but the range is simply too small for M15 these days (imo).

Yes it's extremely annoying. Eval has to do it as his indicators are customized (names, labels..) and he has the sources. The only thing he has to do is to find the line with the Print() statement, then delete it or comment it out. I guess there were some other minor nuisances like attempts to draw a label into a (in someone's setup) non-existant indi window, resulting in flooding the Experts tab too.
Eval, nobody has put a comment on this but this is still a great success in these market conditions, a profit factor > 1.5 is still very good for an almost mechanical system! the drawdown looks harsh at the first sight but considering the risk (SL75p@M15 + 0.1lot/1K = 7.5% per trade) it is appropriate, and so are the profits. Please accept my congrats for consistence and keep up the good work 
btw you can PM me anytime with some coding/editing banalities like above stated but sometimes my response will be slow (i'm bearish on time till end of the year); i have some unpaid debts here (hi camvcvoo, hi pbb).....
So what next? Old habits die hard and i'll never become a strict system trader.. i have tried more ways on how to incorporate a precise entry, indicator-aided system (and Symphonie is the best i found) into PA trading. Lately i've been combining PA on M15 (basically Sho's method) with my own Symphonie mod on M1, keeping an eye on patterns/bars in higher TFs. A lot of hardcore PA traders would probably ridicule any system saying "a naked chart with some lines is enough, anything else is just stupid and distracting" - you know. But it simply isn't a general truth; see the example charts below, that supply level was good for a 20-30p bounce but it's dangerous to enter blindly on touch.. i was able to get into the trade with complete confirmation before the M15 candle closed; see stoch divergence on the M1 chart, tired candles... and the risk/reward (it's a countertrend scalp!!)
btw tried 3% risk
..and switching to 1-2% again.

The way I do it may not suit you....but the point is that you can't have a system that is set in concrete that will work in all time zones and under all conditions. You have to adapt, or else wait until the market returns to the type of PA that you prefer.

With 6 charts open, the message repeats for every chart, every 0.2 seconds and any other message rolls away. See below. I believe Mary Jane fixed it on one version. It would be helpful if it could be fixed on the main page. Thanks.
As you can see from the chart the thread account was choppy but we are even with the prior week...maybe 200 to 300 higher.

A question to all but especially to Eval-MJ-jurn_e-RJ-casinoedge:
In symphonie system, If and only if some want to trade with a fixed hard TP, could say (in average and hypothetically speaking, in "normal" market conditions) that:
unfortunately MJ can't tell you since MJ doesn't know what is "normal" market conditions and last not least, MJ is a discretionary mechanic-averse monkey.in my very personal opinion (and i'm the first to admit there's nothing such as an universal truth) you're against yourself using fixed stops/target with any system. At least you should derive your stops off the average true range, either as a multiple of ATR for the given TF, or a fragment of daily ATR... and make the target a multiple of the stop.
Once i played with an EA based on simple MA cross and optimized SL/TP values on historical data.. i ended up with values like (example) SL:57, TP:113 with a particular TF.. the EA was very profitable over the tested period and gone bust over any other period of time. The only timeframe I could apply pre-determined numerical (not PA-based) stops and targets was the Daily (by the way, it seems to me that really 100% mechanical systems work on the Daily and up, not on shorter TFs incl. H4). But even with Daily i have been more successful with ATR based stops/targets, rather than something like 50/100/200 etc.
I'm mentioning this exercise as an evidence - if you're insisting on fixed targets, you probably limit yourself on profits. For me, entries have the same weight as exits and the difference between them is purely psychological - the exits are more 'difficult' for us (!) because at that time, we're exposed to the market. My philosophy is: the best exit is the best entry in opposite direction, period. Are you considering entries by plain numbers?
There are many ways. RJ uses pivots a lot. I tend to prefer supply/demand zones but won't dismiss a pivot, too. My all-time-favorite is - a diagonal trendline. That's personal preference, you don't have to. You can use fibs! I have had a great success with Bobokus' fib targets (see his and simoneg's thread for levels and application). Even Eval's standard exit method (by indicators) are way better because they respect the market, even with a little lag.
Or (at least) use the ATR, i won't tell you reasonable multiples.. please search, you will find countless threads here on FF searching for the optimal stops (don't mind the guys talking stops, targets are the same, just multiply with R/R). There are indicators all over FF calculating stops/targets off ATR. The best way to find optimal coefficients would be a backtest in visual tester (not hindsight on past charts because of repaints).. a lot of work.
Having said all that, there is a lot of people saying the eur/usd (for instance) moves in 30 pip blocks (some say 20 and it shall be 60 for an impulse, 40 for correction).. i don't know. but even if it was true, you have to determine the phase you have entered. Of course you can go for 10-15 pips all the time with a negative R/R but a losing streak will wipe out too many profits.
There is no static choice working better than 50/50 over the long haul because of the way the market is changing.

Why? If you see me making procress steady progress using Symphonie System and you acknowledge that then why can you not just trade it strictly for a couple of weeks? No modifications, no addons, just straight and make yourself be disciplined enough to trade the signals straight?
You may find yourself making a paradigm shift in your trading style. But you must be strong and disicplined to only trade the slow Symphonie Signal way in 5 min or 15 min.
I challenge you to try it. No addons, not mods just using post#1.
