Hi kibes, expectation and speculation are both probabilistic entities. One can be likened to gambling, the other trading. One is based on luck, the other skill. Being in any position beforehand is probably a safe bet. But on the other hand, you need to consider risk before chasing profits.

The question is: "how high will it go before tanking?" Or "how low will it go before rallying" what is my R:R? Would I get stopped before it finally goes my way? If all these could not be answered, then I'll just let the Euro be. There'll always...
I guess the market has said it all.

BTW, I guess I need to take my break off FF again. In as much as people fail to understand that our everyday character has a big role on our trading results, I'm not the type that knows how to pick fights or quarrels. I just got a very painful message from a fellow ffer who apparently was not calm enough to continue reading through the thread and see the reason for my laughter. I'd rather let you have FF to yourself, than have more blows of insults dealt to my personality.

PS: Flo7, I do not mean to hurt your feelings, but if you can be patient enough to spot my explanatory and apology posts as to why I laughed, you might do well in spotting why some of you trades profited and some lost.

It's not that, it just invites way too many idiot muppets to hog the thread, so I tend to take the occasional break and let them all get margined out, the market always gets his way.

Look at that idiot a few pages back here saying news follows price, yup, and a MC will follow his sorry @rse if he ever gets out of the demo stage.
all ready been out of demo for a year now & with my 3:1 ratio some times more. makes it difficult to get margined out. but what i was saying is put an entry out. no stop, no limit. I know there aint a question of a doubt ur fundies at least 60% percent better than mine. but lets take are last report was negitive the market rallied. now this happens on regular occasions. audusd last night bad news again market did not fall no way near what the average investor would have percived. in my opinon & one thats shared with my community of people, which is world wide. news does not move the markets, any movement it does make is tempory. Reall fundies which im sure ur awear of. Cooper, Oil, Gold, Bonds & many more, are key drivers. but untill u can come down a notch & stop jumping to conclusions about people & ofcourse i work on my grammer you wont ever learn what i know & God willling will learn what you know. & just for the record cog no hard feeling for the whole snitching thing. a word of advise when somebody say sumthing diffrent frm u dont make them an idoit. we are always learning

market tanking like this is another Nassim Taleb black swan event. ECB's dragi's statements that ECB won't violate the euro treaty made the market crater.

Was too busy arguing with some1 here, i still wouldnt have caught this move if i werent tho. What did Draghi say exactly to cause this? I see at least 30 things he said. Which of his statements caused this? Can u expand a bit?
