Well, let me tell you.

Who cares about entries exits and stops? This is not learning thread and he stated several times he has no intention to disclose his system and it is his own free will.

What I have learned? Ah, so many things. He has incredible insight into fundamentals, and he is sitting at bloomberg datafeed. He learned me to watch more for bond spreads. He sometimes shouts what news has happend much sooner before it appreares on regular news. I remember he called CBs rising swap rates...
So where did he post that before it happened, so we could all share the joy of getting his valuable insight? And i quote...he can even shout much sooner what news had happened before it even appears on the news.... wow. Ok, i rest my case.

Why would I want to do that, this is not a signal service here. I get my trades in, get the scaling in and post a chart here, I then talk through my trade all the way to the TP, 9 out of 10 times when I tell you I cover, price invariably reverses by at least 20 pips.

I give you the heads up on news and calendar items minutes before FF does, I discuss the fundamentals here ad nauseum. I point towards important correlatad markets and their levels that have a bearing on EURUSD.

IF you can't see anything useful in any of that, your trading ability is even less then I suspected.

I must have missed that memo again saying that only signal providers can post on this thread here, darn.


But heh, I added a nice handy little link for you in my signature, use it, I will reciprocate.

Been around and Ive read through all C's posts and he is a genuinely well intentioned guy on here to help out new traders who are humble and honest with themselves and who really are willing to put in the work

Frankly the most important thing I feel to take away from cloggie is that the man treats the forex as a absolute serious business. He creates formidable business plans, pays and understands the costs of the forex, thinks, tests, retests, and tests some more every methodology he looks to include exhaustively.

I dont care if you are trading on tick charts or you are a Position trader who enters 3 trades a quarter. If you are going to take anything away from cloggie then take away that message.

A career in the forex is much much more than a hobby where we can just sit on our laptops at the beach on some tropical island from day 1 and watch the fortunes roll in. It is one of the hardest professions in the world and I recommend everyone who is serious in the slightest treat it as such.

and moved the SL to 1.343

Hi kibes, expectation and speculation are both probabilistic entities. One can be likened to gambling, the other trading. One is based on luck, the other skill. Being in any position beforehand is probably a safe bet. But on the other hand, you need to consider risk before chasing profits.

The rate can only have three outcomes; lowered, raised or unchanged. But the three outcomes can only create two effects; a rally or a dip. The first couple of minutes into the volatility will gather no specific direction. The question is: "how high will it go before tanking?" Or "how low will it go before rallying" what is my R:R? Would I get stopped before it finally goes my way? If all these could not be answered, then I'll just let the Euro be. There'll always be another trade, another day.

IMO, I feel there's a reason the euro is failing to tank. Won't be surprised if it rallies above 3500 before tanking. Might not even tank again. Who knows?

I dont know if you know how Bloomberg datafeed works.

There are two such a datafeeds you can pay for. Bloomberg and Reuters. It is incredibly expensive, so just the fact that he pays such a heavy cash for it somehow could give a clue, that he actually can trade.

Anytime news are released they first go to Bloomberg or Reuters datafeed. Only banks, funds and some pro traders pay for this stuff. So he can see the news at the time it gets to the big investors.

Maybe 15 mins after, news are made public. But in the meantime, news are already priced in and cloggie is in.

That swap rate lowering and SaP downgrade were perfect examples. I am watching Bloomberg, Reuters, WSJ and FT. But just regular news. And I have seen it nowhere and cloggie was already posting it here.

There was another great example earlier this week when I gave you guys a play by play between 2 opposing news items and told you which one to watch, I even went as far as telling you to stay out. All before it actually happened, and guess what those that paid attention did well, those that have no clue lost their shirt once again.

What you think about my trading abilities is none of my concern. I have never stated anywhere that i am a great trader and i dont claim to be.
But, obviously, you claim to be as you take great joy in putting other traders down. So to show your greatness, i dont think anyone would mind if you would take the time and post 20 trades with entries, exits and stops. Show us how a real pro trades these news, show us how to trade on a 5 minute chart. There are many people here who do that, usually the ones you laugh at.
